I had to go under the knife twice. The first time they did tumescent lipo. The glands were kept in and the results were horrible. 6 months later they went in again and removed the glands and then it looked perfect. The glands cannot be removed with lipo and the glands for most are very prominent. Additionally, if the glands are not totally removed they can get larger with additional AAS cycles, thus requiring them to be removed.
I was pretty sore after the first surgery. I didn't lift for a while and I had drain tubes in for a couple of weeks (it has been so long I cannot remember exactly how long the tubes were in). I remember it sucked taking showers because I had to wrap the area to keep it dry and sleeping was a pain.
After the tubes were removed I was fine a few days later.
For my gland surgery it was quick and I was a little sore but the incision was right below the aureole of the nipple. I cannot even see a scar now.
