The grave is from a kid who took gear, got off, got depressed and committed suicide, and his parents blamed it on gear if you can believe that shit.

His name is Gibraldi and he's one of the three kids whose parents complained to congress that gear caused their kids to commit suicide

Breathing on this planet is no longer "good for you".
You have to measure the risk/rewards just getting on the highway over Memorial Day weekend. Your chances of death or injury are more likely come from that than they are from steroid use.

Steroids do not HAVE to deteriorate your health. And to date there is no definitive indication that it will. Anecdotal evidence isn't enough for the medical community when it come to cures or treatments of any other disease so why is it for steroids? Because it's all they can cling to. The studies the gave men the highest doses (600mg/wk) of steroids for prolonged periods found no evidence of any side effects other than acne or hairloss. Ooops well that didn't work out did it?
According to Dr Harrison Pope at Harvard Medical there are over 2 million men abusing steroids. He's wrong it's more but for the sake of argument...
Where are the bodies? Where are the indications that a significant percentage are dying or have developed heart disease as a result of abusing steroids? 10 percent would be 200,000 men. You can't possible think that 200,000 men would develop CAD and no one would notice it. The dangers of steroid use is greatly over-exaggerated and this MTV bullshit is just that.

Exactly!

Btw...who the fuck watches MTV...that is the biggest piece of crap....i guess ints highly informative programing just like "P-Didy" with his voting" vote or die" crap. The real threat and disease is that our youth is watching such garbage like MTV...that is the true danger.!

As far as Nj....i feel bad that you fucked up your health. Steroids are not detrimental to health when done properly...that is a majority of time. As far as people tending to over or under play the Deadliness or Health bennefits of steroids...I say take everything with a grain of salt. Personaly i have seen credible evidence that when used properly etc.....they can be a bennfeit to ones health...In some cases if your unlucky they may be detrimental and dangerous that is for people who abuse and or have other medical issues.

Now having said that..look at the fucking pros...how much shit they put in their body.... and they are not droping.....not just steroids but all kinds of pain meds, recreational drugs such as coke, etc.

The reason i dont agree with the MTV crap is they simply chose one example, when in reality the program should focus on the ratio of 100,000: 10 whom it had benefited and not harmed in any way.

As for people being ignorant and thinking they there are no risks...they are flat wrong. Everything is a risk. The point is to make it as minimal as possible!

God bless!

I believe MTV's true life series are pretty legit. They basically stay out of it and let the people show their story. The only problem is they get to pick the people. Instead of showing people using gear responsibly, I'm sure they will be pressured from all the negative media hype to show the people who are uneducated or abusing it. NJStacked-Not gonna get into your personal health issues, but yes gear is dangerous if not taken responsibly. I'm pretty sure before this turned into a complete pissing contest that was your original point.

You can't know that until you actually know what the full picture of each true life episode was.

Has MTV made a "true life" episode on the dangers of smoking cigarettes? If not, I suggest they better get their priorities straight. There are more important issues at hand.

Not the kid that hung himself with his belt- is it????
That kid's dad should've tried putting similar effort into creating a good father/son relationship while his son was still alive.
