For me ... I'm glad steroids are available ... and HGH. I'm living a much improved quality of life from a closely monitored plan of supplementation.

I think NJ's strong feelings and discoveries have a place here for learning and application. He knows what he is talking about based on his body and his life experiences.

Another person may find the opposite. That's why we share info ... to discover what is best for us and what we want to do with our bodies.

IMO .... our bodies are delicately balanced and react to the slightest change. IMO ... moderation and a slow, conservative approach to change is best when it comes to your life. Blood tests and physical exams provide us with the data to chart these changes and make progress.

Thanks... that is all I was saying... Bro... I have seen kids OD on G, Coke, Pills, etc... die... in others arms... I just want people to be safe... and realize that steroids can be dangerous too... STROKES ARE A HUGE POSSIBILITY... increased Blood Pressure, Poor Cholesterol Profile coupled with some Ephedrine... and working out... that alone is a recipe for health issues...

Ok, I am NOT questioning you at all on this, but I have never heard of strokes being involved with AAS. If this is true, can someone please post some info on this. Strokes are serious. They can REALLY fuck you up.

MTV... my only point was the "True LIfe" programsn that they produce IN MY OPINION ARE PRETTY GOOD... thats it... MTV does not try to give their opinion....

Dude you need to lay off the crack pipe. Any of MTV's shows that revolve around sex, drugs, guns, abortion, welfare, war, etc are the most liberally biased shows on television today. Do you think they pick the people on these shows at random? Yeah right. They're slant on any given topic is predisposed long before production and casting. MTV picks the self exploitive losers that fit their views to make their shows as interesting to the MTV viewer (victimized left winger) as possible. :worried:

Steroid abuse has been associated with cardiovascular diseases (CVD), including heart attacks and strokes, even in athletes younger than 30. Steroids contribute to the development of CVD, partly by changing the levels of lipoproteins that carry cholesterol in the blood. Steroids, particularly the oral types, increase the level of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) and decrease the level of high-density lipoprotein (HDL). High LDL and low HDL levels increase the risk of atherosclerosis, a condition in which fatty substances are deposited inside arteries and disrupt blood flow. If blood is prevented from reaching the heart, the result can be a heart attack. If blood is prevented from reaching the brain, the result can be a stroke.

Steroids also increase the risk that blood clots will form in blood vessels, potentially disrupting blood flow and damaging the heart muscle so that it does not pump blood effectively.

I had a friend die from a stroke that was abusing steroids. But guess what? He was also abusing recreational drugs like our jackass NJstacked here.

So are we going to blame steroids for his death?

I believe this thread does have alot of valid points from alot of bro's. NJStacked seems like hes just representing his own opinion and i see no reason to bash him for that. Hes just warning us that they can be harmful.. which they can be.

If he wants to blame his current issues on AAS use then so be it. Thats what he believes and really there is no way to prove that point even with all his medical history. It would make it a stronger point but without strict monitoring for that length of time and earlier i don't think we will ever know.

I believe these threads that represent some medical problems are good. It can prevent younger kids from jumping on AAS or perhaps even make them think it over and do that little bit extra research before they do which will help them understand that much more and be that much safer or choose to not do it at all.

We are all good bro's here and you would think old/mature enough to value ones opinion w/o bashing each other. If we all show more respect most people are more willing to tell their story and open up.

All and all, don't bash and respect ones opinions. We are all here for the same cause. To learn from and educate others.
