I started Squat like 3 week ago Because I used to do Leg press But I heard Squat is better

My started weighs was 175 pound i think.

is it normal INCREASING really fast im now at 245 ..

Leg press involves no co-ordination, squat does.

So naturally you increase dramatically to start with, as you do with any exercise because of neurological adaption, but when co-ordination involves its even greater.

The most hilarious improvements are with front squats, where I first had to start with about 20% of my back squat weight because my co-ordination was so poor with them, and then was about 75% in 2 weeks. Front squats are now my favorite exercise too

your doing something right,,,,your improving.

Make sure you use proper technique. Unless you are fully aware of perfect technique then chances are you also got lazy with it. You might have started doing full squats 3 weeks ago and eased up to 90 degree knee position exercises(I refuse to call anything without proper depth a squat)

Agree................................

Perfect form and deep squats will do more for leg development.

Also, if you go too heavy too fast, you could do yourself an injury.

Good on you for taking up squats though, decent weight to be working with.

all the way down if you're trying to build muscle, definitely below 90. yes it's normal to make those huge gains in the beginning, very satisfying
