Go see a doctor.

If you had cancer, would you come here to ask us? No, you'd go see a doctor...

Def go to ER if it's big but if it hasn't swelled that bad then go see your regular walk in doctor. But if it's the size of a golf ball or bigger it has to be drained. Get Profesional Help!!

I had one over the winter and i just went to a walk in clinic and the doc ended up just giving me some antibiotics and that worked within a week.

104 fever and you think it is an abcess go see a doc and fast. IMO you dont have time for antibiotics to kick in. You need to get this drained.

How exactly does one get an abcess ?
Dirty needle, moving the needle around too much, or just bad gear ?

104 fever?!?? that is like a childhood fever. are you serious or exaggerating? abcess related fevers would more likely be lower grade.

no kidding i had a 104.1 to be exact... i did go to the er... antibiotics galore to say the least 1st iv ever... anyway thanks for the info.. bufallo said his lasted for a week. guys this is no fun... take care of your stuff, i admit it is of my own doings......

i seen someone i knew at the gym put deca and winny in the same syringe. after and hour he lookes like he had a grapefruit in his back pocket. when he finally went to the doctor he said they smacked it a few times with a big rubber mallet to loosen it up and it eventually went away after a few weeks.

You say it is from your own doing. What exactly did you do wrong? People on here can help.

my syringe supply was with 1 new left... i had one that i had used 4 days earlier and used it i thought to pull up with.. when i transfered it to the other one and injected i realized that i had used the wrong one... stupid mistake to say the least but i did alc. swab the old one good before using and also on the site.... i am paying for it now.... swelling, fever, and 2 workouts missed... antibiotics are working on it though.... thanks for the replies and maybe this will help someone else....

It's not gonna go away - GO SEE A DOCTOR!!! I had the exact symptoms, 104 fever exactly, and it hurt like hell. Walked into ER, told the truth, doc looked at it drained it and admitted me to the hospital for a couple days, and put me on real high anti-biotic doses. Bottom line is it happens, but if not treated in time it will get worse. Don't want to scare you, but GO SEE A DOCTOR!!!

Yeah, I want to know this too. Mor einfo on how to prevent it please. I know how to stick someone else, and how to use a clean stick, but not with gear. Other than bunk gear what other things factor in? Thanks.
