Ab Work While Bulking?

I was just curious how many of you guys do much ab work while bulking? Eating 6 or more meals a day plus drinking a few protein shakes makes my stomach feel like a blimp. Sometimes I feel like I'm gonna puke my guts out when trying to bust out some crunches. Who here actually does much ab work while bulking or do you wait until your not on such a high intake diet?
 
When bulking it is assumed you are training heavy with compund movements such as squats and deadlifts.... in which case you should be getting indirect ab muscle stimulation from these movements. As a result it isn't that necessary to isolate the abs unless you want to define them or for diet, for ab strength and development heavy compund movements should be enough until you start a cutting phase
 
No shit, I know exactly what you mean. I know I should be doing them while bulking so they are big squares when I get thin again but jesus is it hard to crunch when you are all fatted out.
