I wonder what is the percentage of people who started running gear without fully reaching their genetic limit. I would bet that about 95% to 98% started too early in life with gear. I myself is one who started too early and give other advice to wait a little longer. What percentage do you feel started too early and are you one who started early? Be honest!!!

I dont know the exact % but I would bet your right,,,it's alot.

thanks to site like this its less as we do not give advice to those under 21 or those who are woefully below their genetic potential. that really helps.

i would say if you wait till your late 20's and learn your body that is the time to start running cycles. but basing it on how much someone weighs isn't always fair... some guys are 5 6 and others are 6 6. the 5 6 guy at 180 pounds and 12% bf is pretty damn built, i would say they are ready and have a solid base.. but the 6 6 guy who is 180 pounds at 12% bf is woefully skinny and needs to put on another 30-40 pounds before even thinking about it

and then there are the guys who are more than 17% bf who really should knock that down unless they really don't care about looks and just are powerlifters

I personally did not start till I was 35. I always wanted to be a body builder, but back in my day, you just didn't walk up to the local gym and order a cycle or even talk about it. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone under 30 at best. I was at my peak from 25-35. In a lot of ways I wish I had never started, but then I believe without it my days in the gym would have been numbered long ago.

I did my first cycle too early. I don't regret it at all, but at the same time I'm not going to do another cycle for a very long time, like 4-5+ years.

I think if kids are determined enough, they're going to do it whether people advise them to or not. There's little people like us can do to stop them. If I ever sold AAS though, I would absolutely never sell to anyone if I didn't believe they were ready.

I started BB when I was 20. Didn't use any "goodies" after five yrs of hard training and good diet. I believe I started at 145 lbs. and by the time I was 25, I got to 195 at around 12% body fat. Not bad I guess.

I started too early on crappy combo prohormone pills, but dont regret it. I think people who are now in their 20's and maybe even 30's grew up in a era at a time where when prohormones were legal they were an OTC item ya know? I remember walking into the supp store at 17 in the mall and seeing stuff like tren xtreme 60 bucks or 50 for 2 and the guy behind the counter didnt know shit so he just told me milk thistle and im good oh yeah and out bullshit brand of PCT in a bottle. I feel like the society as a whole has emphasized "fast is good" and "hurry up" with drive throughs, redboxes etc and that transfers to lifting and how kids get into it and dont want the work just the girls and the results. My 2 cents
