A sad time..

A friend at work looked bumed out, so I asked him what was wrong. He told me that a good friend of his shot his wife and then shot himself. On top of that, they had 7 kids. All under the age of 9. I'm not one to feel sorry for people a lot but, when I thought about those kids I felt bad. 7 kids lost their mother just because some ass-hole lost his temper.

What could possibly drive someone to the point of doing something like that?

Alright. I got some more info on what happen. The guy's wife was shot by mistake. There was a struggle for the gun because he was planning on using it on someone else. His wife tried to take the gun from him. She ended up getting shot in the chest. She is in intensive care. It is believed that the guy was overcome by the reality that his wife could be dead, so he shot himself.

damn, that's even worse then. I would hate to kill my wife by an accident. Now, if I wanted to kill her, then it would be a different story..
