A quick Hello from Miami

Hi there ladies and my few fellas ;)

Just wanted to say hello from Miami, gawd I forgot how much I love this place, I really need to look into moving here. I say this everytime I'm here, it's like something is calling me here.

I'm having a great time, and am getting some relaxation, it's like being here is relaxing. Sleeping has been better, not exactly great but alot better, eating well what happens in Miami stays in Miami, haha let's just say I'm so on vacation in so many ways, and I'm actually not feeling guilty about the things I've eaten, which is surprising.

These Haggen Daz ice cream places are killing me, lol they have this chocolate peanut butter ice cream that I can't get enough of, we don't have these little ice cream places in Montreal.

Oh and Buns I found those Good Sense fruit and nut bags you were eating awhile ago. :verygood: I love em!!!!

Hope you're all well and behaving while I'm away, be good now. ;)
 
Hey Missy! Hitting the clubs? Have you been to Opium yet? Its been awhile since I"ve been out down there but its all good times! If you have a club you want to get into you can use your hotel's concierge to get on their VIP list -- makes it easier to get in the door past the line. :)

Enjoy that Miami weather girl!

I'm back everyone, hope you ladies didn't miss me too much, ;)

Unforunately Sassy I wasn't able to get to any clubs down there :( My boyfriend's aunt lives there, so that's where we stayed in Miami Springs, his mom was also there, and well at times I felt like I was a little kid again. But overall I had a good time, I'm always amazed at the CRAP they sell in the grocery stores, you can not find half of that stuff in any grocery store there.

South Beach was fun, not as crazy as I was expecting, but we were there during the day, I'm guessing it's a big thing at night. We had lunch at the cafe called ICE BOX which was on Oprah for best desserts in America, and well you know I had to have dessert right lol. I had this cake called "the bomb" which is a chocolate cake, with a cheesecake in the middle, let's just say I'm glad I don't live there, lol :p

The last night there, I had a good sleep, I actually slept through the night, last night wasn't so good though, we got home last night at 12:30am and my cat Harvey kept me up, he kept crying in the middle of the night, he missed me ;)

I think this vacation is just what I needed, I took a total break from this fitness thing, I didn't even think about it, or worry about what I ate or anything, lol funny everyone around me worried about it more than me, a few people were like aren't you the 1 who's always on a diet, are you sure you want to eat that, I had to tell them look I'm on a complete break and I'll eat what I want.

So now my plan is to do a fruits and vegetable fast for a few days, and as of Monday I'll back to a clean diet, and back in the gym.

OMG I thought of you when I was in this store, there was this t-shirt that had this cute bunny on it and the bunny had a tattoo that said BRAT on it's arm, and the heading of the t-shirt said Evil Twin, I swear I burst out laughing in the store, and everyone thought I was nuts. :lmao:
 
Welcome back girl I am always amazed as well at all the diffrent stuff they have in the US grocrey stores. It makes me wonder with all the healthy options how there are so many fat people there.
 
You forget that Miami is really just North Havana... so you'll find all sorts of different stuff there.

Glad you had fun - and probably just what you need. There's one thing to get deep into the whole "fitness" thing - but then the next step is to find a balance of all of it that you can do long term. I don't honestly believe that anyone can do "100% fitness 100% of the time". Hell half the reason we do this stuff is so we can look fucking hawt when we do go out & enjoy it all....

wow- so this is what the ladies forum looks like. i feel like i accidentally went into the ladies restroom or something. everything is all pink and fuzzy and cheery.....i gotta get out of here.....
