Are you more of a buy and hold investor or a quick trade investor? I'm a buy a hold guy because I can't tell the future. The only think that I know is that blue chip stocks 'tend' to go up over time. So I buy (via dollar cost averaging) and wait for a few years (>5).

More power to the guys who pick individual stocks based on research. I can't do that because I don't know the companies that I'm investing in. Rather, I go with the funds, or with a small number of blue chippers that I have faith in.

Months ago I correctly called the rise of parabolic food stocks(LOL) such as HNZ and KFT to rise to previous highs. Here we are. Too bad I knew what was on the horizon and didn't buy them. Oh well, at least im honest.
