I'm uncut and was never made fun of. well, I was never made fun of for that.
I could see being made fun of if you had a pinapple sized growth coming off of it - that is abnormal, but being uncircumcized isn't abnormal.
and there are a lot of uncut guys out there.

let it grow and clean the thing. it isn't at all hard to clean unless your son has no arms/hands. then it is much harder to clean.

Who the hell showers in high school? When I was in HS the shower room was empty. Hell, they have curtains too. Just put on a towel and you're good to go. Everyone's making such a big fuss out of nothing.

Arguing that a kid won't be "normal" because he doesn't have half of his "winkie" chopped off. This is one for the books.

I have to ask.. Why did your baby doctor not notice this before?

He was fine until about two years ago when it started to grow - but at a very slow rate ... it's only been in the past six months that it's completely grown back. I even called the doctors office asking "Are you sure he was cut?".

I too am uncut. I have never had a problem with infections, or anything of the sort. If he makes sure to use the soap he should be fine. And also at six, that is a lot of pain for a little man to have to endure.

here in Norway its very unusull to get cut..most guys are uncut..and as far as i know infections arent a big issue..just wash properly..learn the kid it at a young age

I know your son is young and all but why don't you just sit down with him and talk to him about it.Just make it easy for him to understand give him A option his vote counts to after all it's his pecker

Get him cut now...... the pain will go away within days.....the emotional pain will take forever if he is ridiculed non stop in school. My bro in law had it done when he was 16 because of the remarks, jokes, teasing , etc.. he got. He said it was the best thing he ever haad done.
