just opened literally across the street from my office. I just got back from a 'tour'.
It's very fancy and modern. The first thing you see when you go in are oceans of cardio equipment. Treadmills and steppers and eliptical thingys as far as the eye can see and more television sets than a sports bar. They also had some weight machines that were all multi-function shiny things with lots of knobs and buttons and levers and stuff. I asked about the free weights and we went around the corner to see them. A small area that - I shit you not - was barely bigger than a 2 car garage. They did have a couple of multi function squat racks. They had a very space aged brushed metal look to them. I'd kinda be afraid to lift in them though cause I might scratch them.
All for $45 a month.
I won't be goin back. It's disapointing to see this kind of stuff. I'm not asking for much. Just a decent gym that's close enough to go to on my lunch break.
