A bit confused!

So I am running into a problem here. The more I read the more confused I get. I am looking at starting a test e only cycle for my first go. I was only planning on running 250 mg ew. I want to run a minimum dose as possible but I still want to see solid gains. I have read several threads sayin running low dose test like I am planning provides quality keepable gains. (Especially for first timers) I have also read that takin anything under 500 mg ew is a more or less a waste. Any input?

Everyone reacts differently to the stuff, I think a good start would be to begin at 250mg a week, see where you are at around week 5-6, if you don't like what you are seeing or not happy with the progress you can always add a second injection of 250mg (i.e. Mon and Thur each @ 250mg a shot for a total of 500mg week). Start low and work your way up, see how you react.

That def. helps. That was more or less what I was planning on doing. I have had several people tell me I should grow well on 250. I was just looking for extra input. Thanks a lot for the advice! Def. makes me feel better.

No offence as I normally agree more is not better, I have to disagree here.

Unless his natural T numbers are already low in the 4-600 range he probly isn't going to see the changes he would like by bumping them into the low to mid 1000's. (which is where 250mg/week is going to put him). After all once you factor in how much that enanthate ester weighs hes getting far less than 200mg/week of actual test.

I think overall you may be disappointed with your cycle running it at that dose. Not saying you wont make better gains than you could naturally, just not what you would expect from running a cycle of AAS.

I am a very patient gainer and have always been a slow and steady, quality gains guy and that's what I want here as well. Diet and training are spot on so I am just looking for that little extra edge.

I'd say run 400mg/week then split into two shots for 12 weeks. Should see consistent/quality gains.
 
Thanks jmat. I kind of like the start at 250 then bump up if needed. No offense to u at all but I think that would give me a better understanding of how much I need give me the desirable gains. This way I will know exactly what to run for round two...ha. I do appreciate your advice though!

Remember bro, "It's a marathon, not a race" (EZ_E :D )which I believe is the better approach, some guys like to blow up real quick but in the long run it doesn't benefit you (a lot of the time it can have a negative effect, based on how people ran their cycles, pct, etc...)

Start low and work your way up. You have the right notion in your head, see how your body reacts and get a feel for it. I have seen guys put on good gains with low dose test.
 
I agree with others start with 250mg a wk and after 5 weeks you can always bump it up, not like it's going anywhere.
 
Thanks guys. I have never really agreed with blowing up really quickly. I think that's what has given me and adge since I have been training. What gains I get are solid and I keep them. This way I never back track. I just keep a slow progression forward. Your input has been very helpful!

I think 300 or 400 would be a better starting point, be sure you have AI too.
But, many have grown off just 250 a week too.
