Er, did I not say I didn't see but 20 seconds of the tape? That is what I based my opinion on. I have no idea what she did to get pulled over for. Based on what I saw, a man twice her size stomach butted (she visably stumbled) her to the side of the road. He certainly didn't worry about possibly sending her to the ground then, did he, so why would he even consider a tazer would hold less potential for injury...and employ that first?...which he didn't.So what type of force is appropriate with a belligerent old woman who refuses to comply and is jeopardizing your safety?
Police are trained to take charge of a situation with authority right from the get-go. They're not supposed to be nice or polite.
At any rate, she had sped through a construction zone and did endanger lives, so my point is moot.
