Its always been my goal to pull 600#. After whining and crying about pulling 585 right before my back surgery, learning that I'll need 2 more surgeries, being all depressed and saying "I'm never going to hit 600 now," I read Rich S's thread on weighing plates, so I did today.
There's 2 kinds of plates at my gym, one weighs 45 and the other weighs 47. hehe....heres the good part...
When I pulled 585, I used 1 45# plate and 5 of the 47's(because they're shorter) and that adds 20 damn pounds to my lift, so I pulled 605
Not quite as satisfying as if I knew I was pulling it during the lift, but I did it nonetheless.
Just had to share a happy with you guys
