100 riffs. 1 Hendrix + 2 Zeppelin + 1 Van Halen = failure. The Van Halen riff he played is not even really a good one. This is Ledhead's thread now. I'm a poster alchemist, I turn threads into gold.

Actually he played 2 VH riffs..runnin with the devil and hot for teacher...but i see your point, VH should have at least 10 riffs in there and hot for teacher is about number 10

I thought it was OK Van Halen only had 2 riffs in there. You can't put eruption in a riffs compilation because the entire song is a solo. Riffs =/ solos.
As far as the video goes, it was pretty impressive. Hard to remember 100 straight riffs in order. "Oh shit, does that power chord start out on the 3rd fret or 5th? fuck!"
I find it strange that he chose a Strat to do 100 riffs on though. Half of them sounded like shit. A PRS or Les Paul would have been a better all-around guitar for that video.

The Strat would have sounded fine if he had better amplification. I guess he had to set a wimpy level so it wouldn't clip out whatever he was using for a camcorder.

Multi-effects processors are good for people who can't spend $1500 on an amp, or just simply don't have the room for something that huge. I just have a Fender Frontman 212 and a digitech rp350, and I can get some clean sounding stuff in all genres. I'm not a professional, I don't need a triple rectifier amp.
