Hello all,

I haven't posted in awhile, been lurking and catching up w/all the posts at night. I've been busy training, dieting, working etc...

I thought I'd post my recent pics for some opinions on what I need to look ready for the June 11 figure show.

I've been doing a carb rotation diet, 3 days low, 2 high
Supps - ECA, glucerell, pre-natal vitamin, leverex
H20 - 1 gal.
Training - 4 days weights, Hit 3 days, moderate walking 3 days, a.m. empty stomach.

at 1-1.5 pounds of fat loss per week and you will be super sharp

I'm a little worried about the gut & butt!!! still holding onto fat there, Anyone know when it will drop??
 
Naked pics, where?? Now you got me curious :) How bout a little peak, Jnuts won't mind...........

Yep ass & abs last to come in. You might also experience some loose skin in those areas as you are losing bodyfat. That's where I"ve been putting on the yohimburn & wrappign it all in saran wrap for cardio & sleeping, in a neoprene waist wrap for training. Also how are you plannign to do your last week? Doign a carb deplete, carb up + water deplete? With the water deplete you will also get some skin tightening. And just out if interest, I think I'm goign to try a body wrap (not the herbal wrap) to tighten up. This I'm still researching.

Not sure about exact plan for the last week, this is where I need some help, I've been doing my cardio w/ yohimburn and the waist wrap and I see some diff. maybe I'll try sleeping w/it also.
Last time I competed I rubbed preperation H on a few nights before and wrapped/slept w/it on. It tightened up my abs alittle more.
Herbal wrap sounds good, are you going do this a few days before you start your layers of protan? or are you using a diff. tanning system/products?

I have a couple suggestions. I know in your first picture you were doing a bicep pose - but I am sure you know you won't be doing any of that. Hopefully you have someone working with you on your quarter turns - which are of the utmost importance. You must always stand with your feet together, heels touching and legs completely straight. You have to arch your low back so hard it hurts to get that butt up as high in the air as possible. If you need to see some pics of girls in their figure stances - go here and browse through. Also look closely at the suits. I have a 1 piece suit for sale that would fit someone ~ 125-135lbs. It was made by Cynthia James. I'd sell it for 250 (paid 300). I just mention this as suits make all the difference in your appearance onstage. A custom suit can increase your placings by several places - no lie.

I won't say anything else about dieting as I am sure you have many in this forum assisting with that. I would mention you may want to train your quads/hams more extensively because that is something that is judged highly - a nice large quadsweep. Not bodybuilding quads - but just look at the pics as mentioned and you'll get an idea. I've judged fitness, figure and BB the last 6 years in 3 states for the NPC and figure judging has come a long way! I hope your show's judges panel is knowledgable and fair.

quadsweep sister, great info! I will def. ck. out the website on posing. This is where I need to practice daily, looking for someone to help me w/this. but not much luck as of yet.
The suit I'm wearing in the pic. is from 2002, mine new ones aren't in yet, I went w/a teal blue velvet for the show coming up.
My left leg is screwed up due to 2 broken legs and a ACL tear from past years. When I stand straight on, the left knee is crooked and lower. How can I hide this? Could I stand at an angle or is that a no no? You can prob. tell from my back view that my left leg is wacked. Legs are my weak pt.s will train them more as you suggested :)

I see. I was of course lacking the information about your leg injuries. I would imagine they will make you stand with your legs together if it is an NPC show. You could try to put that leg a bit behind the other in more of 'beauty pagent style' model stance - if you know what I mean? Where the leg in front's heel is in the arch of the leg behind...hard to describe. They may call you on it though. Try practicing some stance that hides this though, because you will have an opportunity to stand in a different manner and present yourself how you feel is best (when not in your strict quarter turns).

You'll want your suit straps to be the type that criss-cross in the low back and cinch the sides of the suit bottoms up high on the hip. The strap straight across the back cuts you in half and doesn't help your back/lats to look wide as they should. Any other questions just let me know. Thanks!

Thanx, I was going to try standing like you suggested to hide the bad knee, I looked at the web page you sugg. and it hels w/my posing stance etc.
The suit I ordered does criss-cross in the back, it should be here any day, I'll post some pics when it comes in:)
