I need to get in shape. I have not posted pictures in a long time. My motivation has been nonexistant. At best I have been just maintaining what I had while slowly putting on fat.

So here I am as of 6-6-06. Still 6'3" tall... 243 lbs.

I have been working with my Dr to try and remedy my low test levels. I am at 302ng/dl. For contrast someone taking 250mgs/wk is at 3,000 ng/dl.
The primary effects of low test I have noticed to be:

1. Its harder to put mass on
2. It is REALLY hard to lose bf around the belt line
3. It takes forever to recover

I also dispise cardio. I have not done any in a while. Maybe ten times since August.

Lets hope posting these gives me the kick in the ass I need to lift heavier and eat 100% clean (been about 80%).

BTW. Other then dropping some fat my primary goals are to bring up my delts (which suck) and my upper chest.
 
progress (either positive or negative) is great motivation bro... kick some ass!

How'd the endo. appointments go? Are you going to be going on TRT/HRT?
 
slat have you tried running another pct bro? some hcg and clomid for another month to return you to normal? I ask because many doc's out there woulnd't recomend that treatment and be quick to throw you on hrt. But seriously i'll trade my broad shoulders for your abs bro!!! You and I are similar body weights, i'm 6'4" 245 right now. I'll post pics up at 240 :). Hit those shoulders hard and keep it up, i find an ECA stack can really get my ass movin on those lagging days.

I am going back in 4 months to my endo. She is not very well versed in the whole AAS and ancillary department. I had to explain why things were used etc.
I think I may hit some hcg and clomid in Sept and see what happens when I am retested in October.
 
dull boy is right, slat imo don't wait, run the hcg and clomid now, do 30 days at 150mg/clomid and 1000iu EOD for 2-3 weeks, you might be amazed what happens. Oh and run some light AI like arimidex just in case. I did a long cycle with a boat load of tren and had to run my clomid for 8 weeks until things were back to normal.
 
I don't go to the Dr again until October. I think I will run a monser pct of hcg/clomid in September. If it works great. If not my numbers will be low again and I will be in the Dr's hands still.
 
slat - you still have an amazing set of abs -- i mean - even if you aren't real excited about where you are w/ all the stuff you're in right now -- but you still look pretty fucking good.

Slat mate even for a guy with low test, you are looking great. It's hard to look thick at a height like ours and considering you have had no motivation you've kept your size well.

I can still use these photos as inspiration to motivate myself. Hope your PCT experiment works out!

Slat I understand, you have great abs, in shape, out of shape, lack of shape, whatEVER you think you are .. but it goes beyond 'the abs' ... I know what you mean ... But appreciate what you do have as best you can, as hard as it may be ... PLEASE ...

Can you find a training partner? Someone to motivate you? Find other creative forms of cardio (I'm being serious), like the stairs & slides I run to kick your ass & have someone to push you, b/c you NEED it ...

Sprints? Jump Rope? Make things fun again?

I used to walk up the road twice a week for rehabbing my broken ankle.
Give me a ring some time and I will hit it with you if I can. It would have to be a Saturday. I work Friday and Saturday nights... plus all day on Sundays.
 
Damn that Mt. kicked my ass last time on the steep rocks... screwed up my knee and ankle :rolleyes:

It'll be soooome time before I try to climb her again... something not so moutainous maybe!
 
I am beat today.
I worked Thursday night, Friday, Friday night, Saturday night and all day Sunday.
I want to take today off due to being tight. I am going to go and hammer away anyway.

You look great! I agree with you that you would look even better if your delts came along a little more, but you still look great!

My back is inflamed from my deg disks right now. I am on anti inflamatories.
I am okay with how I look. I still have 8 abs. I just need to get back in the gym and keep my back in good condition.
Fire away about the diet...

How's the stationary bike feel...back wise, is that possible?

Diet... what's your eating schedule like and what's on the menu?

Water intake?

If you like to have a few cheat meals throughout the week... i'd HIGHLY reccomend the Gluc-R and Seasapure stack from AF... worked wonders for me.
 
I don't do any cardio. I hate it. Once my back gets better I will try to start it up. I see a difference in a week when I do it.

Here is my usual day:

8am - 8oz oatmeal with 3 scoops of ultrasize in water

noon - 4 pc multigrain bread w/ teddy anpb (unsalted)

3pm - 8oz lean chix/steak

6pm - 3 scoops Mass Maker, 2 scoops Ultra Size

8pm - 10 oz chick/steak w/ sweet potato

* I have been slacking and skipping my 10am meal which is the same as the 3pm meal. Both should have a few cups of leafy veggies too. Again I am slacking.

** I may have to cut out the sweet potato to get real lean. I would love to be down to 230 again and look like my sig pic (225 at the time).

The less I eat the heavier I get. Thus being 250 today.
 
I too despise cardio... but love what it does to my body... it's a give and take this lifestyle.

Seems like you are on a pretty good track... you know what you have to do, just need more plan of action...

Sweet 'tatos are great, I would actually substitute out that bread at noon with a 'tato... and you need protein (main source) in that meal as well.

Far too many protein shakes too... IMHO whole foods are always better. Use shakes out of convience only..... say one day you don't have time, fine drink 3 over the course of the day, but i try to limit myself to one shake per day max... and that's pre/during/ or after my lifting.

More veggies a must.... physillum (sp?!) Fiber supplement at night (2 tablespoons) may help ya out when you can't get all the veggies in.

Yes getting super lean... sucks ... just stick to veggies and chicken/LEAN steak every meal if that's what you're going for.
 
Great. I clicked on the link and saw the picture of that guys wife. Now I am all horny at work. I can't go to the gym like this. I will have to take preventative measures.
 
I can't eat any less then I am. It kills me to eat only 6 times a day. I am starving shorty after each meal too.
3,500 calories is about as low as I will go. When I really tighten up on the white flower, starch, and sugars my body gets super efficient.
BTW. I can't imagine eating 190+ grams of carbs. I went 6 years eating around 50 grams a day tops. I am finding they pack the wieght on me fast when I do eat them. They fill me out too.
Right now I am sort of in the middle. Not super lean and not big.
 
Right now I have a few things on my plate that are distracting me.
Court tomorrow.
My back.
A few weddings etc.
 
What I would do then... try to eat clean food every few hours ... get a good amount of water in throughout the entire day.. and take care of your back.

Focus on you when you have time... put 100% effort towards your goals whenever you're ready.
 
251.5 at the gym last night. 249.5 at lunch today.
Its back day. I will skip the deads due to the injury. Not sure about bent over rows yet.
 
251.5 again. At least I am back in the gym. Hit chest yesterday with some front and side delts.
Back and rear delts today.

Just wanted to let you know... I've lost 10 pounds in the course of a night before... I'm anti-scale... but I think you know that :)
 
LOL. I went out with some buddies a few months ago and lost 12lbs in 24 hours. You sort of forget to eat when you are out drinking all day.
 
Had a bachelor party on wednesday. Ate a lot and drank a bit. Hit 255 on the scale. I seem to be going in the wrong direction...

My back is still killing me. I have been to the gym a couple of times. No legs in over a week though :(
I saw 258 for the first time ever...
Looks like I am working out for next summer.
 
Your not as far from looking like your old pic.You look great...have they tried the cream yet for your low levels?

I go back to the endo in October. I have basicly been flushing my money down to the toilet working with her. She is not as experienced as I would like.
When you are explaining esters, half lifes, medical terms, uses and protocols to your dr something is wrong.
 
Had another bachelor party.

I felt skinny all weekend since I hung out with guys that don't work out!
 
Funny how that works. I know I'm my own worst critic and always see something to work on. But when you get around friends like you say that don't work or the general public for that matter you feel like, damn, maybe I'm not that bad after all. All of the hard work is paying off. Just can't get too complacent as there's always areas to improve on. BTW, how about the back and foot Slat? You know these weddings and parties you keep going to are gonna kill you :D

No more drinking for me for a while.
My foot still swells HUGE when I walk on it a lot. The bone just has to heal.
My back is junk.
I need to get my ass in shape. I am feeling some motivation coming. Lets hope it keeps coming. I was hoping to be down to 235 by now.
I will post up some pictures by the end of the week.
 
My foot has healed enough so that I can do cardio. I hate cardio. I have done a bit every day this week.
My diet has been strict since a week ago Monday.
I am down to 250lbs.
I feel like a fat slob after seeing pictures from last summer. To think I thought i was fat then!!!
 
I hate cardio and I hate being fat. I can still see 8 abs and some obliques (not much) but everything is foggy compared to how they used to look.
 
slat have you tried a second pct yet? if not then i ask why sir.... seriously, one month from now with clomid/hcg/arimidex and you could be GOOD TO GO! i mean it, dont give up, dont go on hrt, do some more pct and remember 'woooo-saaaa'
 
I had my MRI on my back done on Saturday. Hopefully, I will get the results this week.
The last month and a half has been hell working out.
I am down to 253. Still a fatty though. I can see 8 abs and kind of some obliques. I need to get my shit together and get in shape. Hopefully, they figure out what is wrong with my back.
