I'd follow this pretty closely. Its designed that way for a reason. Start out with low weights so that you can advance week to week. This way you are progressing and keeping up your morale and motivation. The only thing that I changed is the Powerclean to Bent over Rows and High Pulls to Deadlift. This is covered in the article below. I used this week to get my starting numbers and plan on starting this program full force next monday.
