5x5 Question for Madcow2 and the Regulars

hi everyone.
170 lbs
11% bf
20 years old
training 1.5 years (Max-OT + HST)

i'm dying to start the single factor 5x5, but my big problem is my schedule:
i can only lift Mon/Tues/Thurs/Friday. i can't lift on Wednesday or on weekends. can i schedule the workouts mon/tues/fri or mon/thurs/fri, or would the 2 consequtive days hurt my recovery?

would the answer be different for a dual factor program?

thanks to everyone in advance.

Just a guess...

I'd go ahead and try M.T,F or M,Th,F and see how it goes. It's not perfect but it's better than nothing. I would think that DOMS will be a bitch for a bit but with some conditioning (time) you'll adapt and be fine.

THis may be silly but you could try to workout monday a.m. and then tuesday p.m. just to maximize time b/t workouts (I know it's a stretch but just trying to help :))

What more is there to say?

The single factor 5x5 is based around a 3 day split so you get a rest day in between each workout, plus an extra day at the weekend. If you can't do that, then try to space them out as best you can by using mornings / evenings like guinness said.

And if you can't do that, well, just try to fit it in however and see how it goes.
