5x5 Deadlifts Week 2

Went into my my DL program on 5x5's with 195 this week which was 10lbs more than I used last week. The weight really does not feel very heavy but this is much more volume than I am used to doing for DL's which I hope will help my pathetic 305 max. Not that I am a PL but it is still nice to hit big lifts.
 
305 isnt pathetic at all, your improving, their was a time when i couldn't even do 225, now i do 425. That 5x5 will make it shoot up.
 
I did 5x5 deadlift a few days ago and I am cutting dowm the reps sets to 4x3. The more reps killed my spine.
 
Thanks for the feedback guys. I have not been improving but I think deadlifts is one of the lifts that I quit doing more often than not, but I plan on changing it. My squat is really my horrible lift but I will keep those numbers to myself. I am one of the few people that squat at my gym in the first place and one of two people that deadlift. I have been making more progress as of late but I think that was due to being unemployed which left me with a lot of time on my hands for a couple of months. Now that I am about to start work again 12 hour shifts I will have to restructure my workouts to fit my schedule.
