Is this just for forum newbies?

I know no-one wants the forum to be spammed by idiots but is it really necessary to wait 5 minutes before making another post/reply? Some people might agree thats a little excessive perhaps? Besides which, forum spam is usually generated by bots (mainly the xrumer bot) which doesn't mind sitting and waiting 5 minutes.

because youre brand new. once you get over a certain post count you can post anytime. i dont know what that post count is
