4 WEEKS OUT - Some more updated pics..

SAF.....if I had your look at 4 wks out I'd play around with my carbs for a week to see how my last week would go. Try to figure out when you should carb deplete and load....others may tell you differently but that's my .02
I think you look ready to compete right now....that's why I'm telling you this!!!!
Good Luck bro!!!

I was thinking about doing that, but it's slightly too late for that right now with only 3 1/2 weeks to go. I have an appointment with a dietician tomorrow night. This guy has competed in the past and placed very well at national-level shows. He works for Labrada Nutrition and he also has many years of experience in preparing competition diets for competitors, and he's only charging me $70 to lay out the next 3 1/2 weeks of my diet, including the last week of depleting and loading. Sounds like a good deal to me because I dont want to fuck things up at this point and waste 5 months of hard work.

look good bro, and smart investment speaking with the dietician. how many minutes per day do you spend practicing posing? good luck.

I read an article by Chris Aceto once about depleting and loading. It was pretty straight forward and what I have always used.
You start depleting on sunday and drop your carb intake by 50%. So if you were eating say 6 potatoes or 100grams of carbs you'd drop to 3 potatoes or 50 grams of carbs. You follow that for 4 days and than start loading on the thursday..going 50% ABOVE your original carb intake. So you would be taking in 9 potatoes a day.

I never did go that high in my carb loading but I might have went maybe 30% above my original carb intake.

I've been spending about 20-30 minutes per day posing. I'm following the "Perfect Posing" video which was worth the $30 I paid for it. I've got the relaxed stance and quarters turns down pretty well. Now I'm planning on practicing the mandatory poses. These are important to practice and hold for at least 1/2 minute because if you dont, you'll break on stage.

were did you get that video from....I've just been doing the quarter turns and mandatory poses and holding them for 1 min. each after my workout. I've also been working on my routine in the mid-day without actually flexing and just going through the movements with the music.

If you don't mind, post the diet in this thread once you get it. I'd be interested to see how it varies from the diets that other competitors here use.
