Okay. Its April and I am slacking.
I took these Friday night.
I'm still 6'3" tall. I checked in at 239. My best guess would be that I am about 16% body fat.

The picture quality sucks. I took it with my phone which has been dropped a few hundred times.
I have not tanned since September. I may start up to get rid of the pasty white look.
I have not been eating as strict as I usually do. I have been skipping a lot of meals too.
Hopefully, I am pulling out of my funk. Summer is coming quick!
 
Six packs looking good still...my question is...Is that all your doing anymore is situps?
You would be a freak if you trained your upper more bro...GL

I am still training everything. Just four days a week right now.
My right bicep tendon has not healed yet. I am still unable to do any substantial wide grip movement. My back is disapearing. My biceps are too.
It has been roughly two years since I have been able to work my back or bi's real good. I had a partially torn left bicep tendon prior to partially tearing my right one.
I am definately not a "jaked" guy. I look good but nothing freaky.
Most of my buddy's that compete don't understand why I stay so lean year round (not that its that lean). I just don't like putting on fat.
I am actually planning on using a bulking diet for the first time in my life this winter. Most likely from October to the end of February. It will be interesting to see what happens.
 
I'd say pair that bulking diet with a bulking cycle there slat :) (have some real fun). I hear you and understand completely, summer IS around the corner, i'm not where I want to be yet either. I've found a new strategy that seems to keep me on track whereby on sunday I chart out my week on a peice of paper and plan in each lift and cardio session thereby I can kinda visualize the whole week infront of me (instead on multipages in a day planner). Then i keep it on my desk. You look good though bro. I'd kill for a torso like yours. Keep at it and good luck!

Didnt know about the injury bro..i remember when you looked dam good..Tendons take forever to heal also.....Get one more,get one more,thats how you get screwed out of the game and tear something.....Gl on your recovery...Looking forward to seeing yea jacked! :)
 
Damn nice abage! Wondering about doing any sort of non-weight bearing "isometrics" for the areas you can't train due to the tears. I'm thinkign along the lines of the squeezes at the top of a rep but w/o the weight -very similar to just holding one of the mandatory poses at least for some conditioning work on those muscles that can't easily be trained.

I think he's estimating off last month's hydrotatic test - that's pretty much the most accurate method of testing absolute bodyfat. The calipers don't measure internal bodyfat so will probably read a lower number. But the caliper numbers are usually what we consider as the reference so when you measure by a different means you will get a different absolute number.

You are correct. With a 7 point caliper test I am sub 10%. Dunking I am 15% plus :worried:

I actually look a little better than the pictures depict. My obliques are starting to peak out and my abs are a bit more defined etc.

I went tanning yesterday. Since I am 6'3" and the bulbs are 6' I have to bend down to tan my face. Needless to say. My ass is red.. LOL.

240 and change on the scale last night.

My biceps are getting stronger. Less pain too. Hopefully, I will be able to hit some decent pounds on the wide grip soon to start building my back up again!

Quads and calves tonight.
 
Your abs are fantastic! Sorry about your injuries. Just keep at it. They are slow to heal and sometimes stay stretched out forever once they get stretched or torn.

Mine are just covered in scar tissue. Getting old sucks!
 
slat looking softer than your previous pics. can still see the amazing physique you have under there though. sure it wont be long before you are ripped and lean again.
 
Alert... Alert. My motivation is coming back a bit.
I am taking the weekend off from work. I have only done that five times since May. I am pumped to get out of town for a few days.
240 on the scale. I went tanning and got a hair cut. LOL. I love how that makes me feel better about myself. It must be the same feeling some ladies get from getting their nails/hair done etc.
Back and Hammy's today. Shoulders, traps, triceps and calves tomorrow.
 
yes the haircut does make u feel better, and lighter... too bad i havn';t gotten one since like january, lol... anyways.. .u got the weekend off huh.. im working tonight and tomorrow night :) some of the sox might be coming in either of these days.
im workin on gettin leaner, but this test is just making me gain some weight, but i am leaner... i was 240 after working out yesterday! weight is fluxuating ( sp, oh man im dumb) so much.. down to 233 sometimes , then up to 240.. wtf... haha .. keep it up mang.

I'm with you. He is way, eay leaner than 16%. I'm currently 17% and my abs are not even close to the surface... That six pack still looks very good.

I used a slightly wider grip on front presses for delts and did I feel it. I think I am going to keep using that form with light pounds. Anything will help my delts at this point.
I went tanning again too. Holy crap does that make a difference. Everything starts to pop out every where.
 
I just posted on your thread. I just got my answers on this thread. Keep it going bro. I have had a flare-up all week in my back. Damn, another set back. I'm still focused though.
 
I went out this past weekend.
I am really, really tired and fatigued.
Hopefully, lunch will get me going again.
 
I stepped on the scale at a nutrition store during lunch. I hardly ate all weekend. I was not too anxious to see the result. 239.6. Thats not too bad at all.
 
243.8 at lunch today.
I barely remember sending that txt. I went all out. If I didn't I would have been in big trouble. My buddies prey on the weak. They ordered shots right when I got out of my car a little before 3pm. Things didn't let up until early the next morning.
 
I actually looked pretty good in the mirror this morning. Funny how that can happen. I was 243.6 on the scale.
 
Hit legs yesterday. Lots of squats with the bar (ass to the floor) and haq squats.
I only went up to 185 for a few sets. The funny thing is a few guys came over and commented on how deep I was going. They go up to 405 and 1/4 rep it. My legs were bigger then theirs... LOL. Thats what they get for not doing a real squat.

Back and hammy's today.

No real goal at this point.
I would like to lean out a bit. I am just too tired and lazy to do cardio. Hell, I can't even keep my diet 100% in check right now.
I have a feeling it is going to be this way until I find out what is going to happen with the DR. I seriously doubt I have a tumor. Once that is cleared up I will see what she has planned for me.
I can tell you this. It is a hell of a lot more difficult to put on quality size or lean out when you have low test levels!
Interestingly, I still do better then some guys at the gym who use a ton of stuff. You have to eat right no matter if you are on or off to get good results!
 
Gotcha... oh that's right... forgot about the Dr. appointments... I hope everything comes out for a clean bill of health for ya bro!

Damn right... Diet can make or break a physique and/or a workout... used to have alot of shitty one's "back in the day" ...not anymore :)

You'll dial everything in once you know what's going on. :coffee:
 
I think I am taking todays workout and doing it tomorrow.
I have to work tonight and it would have been a fast workout. If I hit it tomorrow instead I can dedicate a lot of time to it.
Tomorrow will be upper chest, delts, tri's and traps. I am trying to bring up my upper chest and delts so I am hitting my upper chest on delt day and my front and side delts on chest day. Rear delts on back day.
