Anyone here played any games in 3D yet?

That technology is 10 years old bro. My 2001 PC, has an Asus 3D card from 2001. With glasses and stereo effect just like IMAX works. I use it all the time because is awesome. FUCKING big Corporations, as always manipulating everything, saw the technology so revolutionary, that they discreetly took it out of the market to exploit it in the future. Those cards were cheap. So what they did? now, 9-10 years later, plasma tv prices went down, 3d cards prices went down, how to spike it up? OHH...REVOLUTIONARY NEW TECHNOLOGY 3D!! So now 3d Plasmas are more expensive, and 3d cards are more expensive. Not to mention all the new market created around the "new revolutionary" 3d technology. FUCK CORPORATIONS. Fuck 'em all and fuck the government. Since 2006, I never was able to find again asus 3d drivers for my card. They erased them from this planet. Luckily, I saved the previous versions on my PC, and all games run perfectly on them.

I've seen screens that don't use glasses.. but it looks FUNKY and eats up a lot of room for "LCD" tech.
Apparently those 3d helmets from Hyperion were fully developed and ready to go but kids and adults were getting psychological issues from using them and the pending law suits shot them down. My guess is that they want to still sell the same thing without getting sued, so you see them adding the 3d feature to a 2d screen vs. making a 3d only display.

Soon we'll all be IN the games! LOL imagine that!
3-D films had been largely relegated to a niche in the motion picture industry because of the costly hardware and processes required to produce and display a 3-D film...
