3 Month Progress Pics

New member
I posted my pics on the Member picture forum but since they don't get as much traffic over there, I thought I would post a link that might stay here a while before it gets moved.
These are from the first week of March thru June 10. There are 5 pics of the same pose from the different times.
I started @ 250 lbs and cut down to 232. I may keep trying to diet some more over the summer, but I am really tired of it.
I know it is not a massive transformation, but I am happy with the result from a body that is 38 yrs old and TSH levels that average around .580 to .600.

3months, that's not bad at all, you're looking good bro; just keep working those wheels :)

good work gold! how tall are you? you look very tall so you can easily carry some extra weight and still look good.

you could use some size on your legs to balance your physique. do you do squats? will do wonders for putting on size to your legs.

(oh ya, you are 6'5". you already posted this!)

like i posted in your other thread, good work at losing that unwanted mass, but you could really use more quality mass. the muscle and definition is a bit lagging my friend, nothing some hard work in the gym and some added testosterone wont fix !!

good progress though.

Yeah I know about the mass thing. It all falls into the category of not being able to do anything but upper body work for several years.

I broke my right leg in 4 places and shattered my right ankle joint in January 1994. It took about 8 years and a ton of different kind of surguries to just walk without a limp. But finally I just said screw it and had my ankle fused. I can't work my right calf muscle at all, but at least I can do squats now.

My legs are growing the slowest of anything, but they are growing...But I plan to take things a little different this winter on a bulking cycle.
Anyway, thanks for the positive comments and the support bros!

Very nice work for your age!!! It's nice to see not everyone is young and also to see men over 30 still changing body composition which is clearley what your doing. a friend used to say it's not what you weigh but how you look. So i hardly ever check the scale to determine progress. Nice work!

I'm just glad you called it "men over 30" instead of old guys!LOL

You do look a bit better from the last time I said that you needed big effort to change that physique. You recalled what I said to you? Anyways...what gear are you taking? What does your diet consist of? Have you gotten bloodwork done to see where you E levels are at? And your T3 levels? What about IGF-1 levels?

Like I said. You do look better. But something is NOT right. Your diet maybe off! Or maybe just maybe your metabolism just isn't good enough. You might also need a small amount of GH. 38 years old you said? At that age you IGF-1 levels are SHIT! Take at least 1iu per day. That should do the trick.

Your legs, back and arms look bigger and fuller. But fat and water retention are still there. If I were you...I would get my E levels, IGF-1 and T3 levels checked out. Just do what I do. Go to your doc and tell him that you feel weak and sleepy all the time. And that you feel very depressed.

Bullshit to him. Tell him that a few of your family members have suffered from this feeling you have. And that they all had bloodwork done and that their bloodwork said that they had extremely low levels of IGF-1 and very low T3 levels.

If he asks you what did their doctors do to correct them. Just tell them that they are now on 1iu of GH and thyroid medication for life! And that they all now feel better! Shit! Want to take it to the extreme? Tell him that one of your family members became so depressed that he tried to commit suicide. Tell him that his how you feel.

I'm only telling you this because this is the act I had to do with my doc in order for him to put me on GH Hrt for life. And guess what? It fucking worked!!!! Try it! It will at least encourage your doc to give you the bloodwork done.

Not good. Well...I dont look bad. I think I look pretty good. But I'm not where I was last year. I'm just too busy lately. Too many injuries. I haven't been able to train like I used too. I just started training a couple of weeks back. And so far I only been to the gym about 3 times a week. And my injuries are NOT allowing me to hit the weights hard.

And I've been so busy. I haven't been able to keep with my my usual 7 meals a day. Now I'm only getting between 4-5 meals per day. Oh well! Thats life for me!

you been around for a while bro so you know there are up's and down's...

keep your head up and stay strong til the funk fades.

Carth, As stated in the starter post...My T3 levels have consistantly tested between .580 and .600 The Doc says there is nothing that he can or will do until the levels fall below .550. The high/low spectrum for T3 is from the bottom of .550 to the top 5.5, So as you can see, my metabolism is on the extreme slow side. As far as E levels, I don't remember the #'s from the last test but they were OK.

I have always said that I can smell food and add a few lbs of fat, and it has been that way all of my life. My heaviest weight was 270lbs, which was about 2 years after I broke my leg and ankle. But it was all fat.
No cycle as of now, but I was on Tren/Test and Cytomel, and extreme dieting to get the 18 lbs gone for the contest

Damn bro! Because you look better than before. But that metabolism is lagging. It really is. Why don't you just jump on stuff to increase the metabolism? ECY stacks, gugglesterones, Clen, Taurine etc etc. Shit! Go back on the T3!

Do you do cardio? I wish I had the time to do some cardio. You should give it a try. Bro honestly....your IGF-1 levels could be shit to the ground!!!! Get that checked out!
