24 Hour Fitness Just Cold Called the Wrong Guy...

Lol that's funny, but I kinda feel bad for the girl......lol! I remember when I got my membership at Fitness Connection. All I did was walk straight to the free weights and the owner kinda got pissed because I wasn't following him or listening to anything he had to say. The first time I went I didn't get a membership cuz the trainer just took me to all the tread mills and bicep machines and actually made me use each one. After that he tried pulling up his computer program for trying to gain muscle(which I cared nothing about) and it didn't exist. Then he told me I would have to eat 3 to 4 grams of protein to put on any muscle and I argued with him and gave up and said I didn't have a credit card and I think he actually started tearing up.
 
"All 3"... I take it by that you are referring to the "Wide Grip Bicep Curl", the "Close Grip Bicel Curl" and the "Reverse Grip Bicep Curl"???
 
I'm actually gonna be a PT at a fancy gym shortly and i'm gonna feel like a complete douche bag for wasting everyone's time. The shit i see the trainers make them do now is such a joke its not even funny but i guess when you have a 0 activity level you gotta take baby steps before you are doing anything of importance.
 
I went through almost the same deal a few years back. The local BIG name gym was bought out and they hired a team of proffesional trainers, Too funny. I just wanted to see what they had as far as free weights. I travel alot for work and the first thing i look for in a gym is if they have dumbells that go to at least 120 lbs. Anyway, getting back to the story, the little guy insisted on telling me all they had to offer. I must have interupted him 5 times. No, i do not need babysitting. No, i do not need a suana. No, i do not need a jacuzzi. The final was when he asked me what cardio i did. I laughed and i guess insulted him. Poor little guy. He started explaining to me why cardio was so important. I asked him, can you gain weight and strength while doing cardio ? He changed the subject. I took the tour. It ended when i saw the dumbells only went to 80lbs.
 
Whenever some one talks to me about cardio, I tell them to get in the squat rack and tell me that they aren't getting a cardio workout as well.
