Ya I was amazed when i read on MSN that people rushed and got trampled just over mace being sprayed. I was thinking how damn stupid some people can be.

It was just PEPPER SPRAY and MACE used against a couple people who were having a fight.

Was that cause for a HUGE panic???

If i'm in a club and there's a fight in the corner, i'm not going to START RUNNING FOR THE DOOR and tramp on anyone who gets in my way??

I bet 10 or so people did that, scared the crap out of the other people (who assumed prolly it was a gunfight) and in turn THEY started running, and in turn, OTHERS started running, til it's a whole stamped.

I bet if those 1500 people knew it was just a stupid bargitht, no one would've left.

This is the most stupidest tragedies i've seen in years. If it was a madman with an ak-47 i can understand, but sheesh.

You obviously never used pepper spray in a club. I did it. 2 years ago. and believe me, it doesnt take a minute to spread everywhere. As soon as you have some kind of air system, it's even worse. When I used it against some ghetto boys we had to evacuate the club. But it's effective against a mad crowd.

If i took pepper spray into your local sports arena, and sprayed it in the audience -- i don't think it'll cause mass hysteria and thousands of deaths as a resulf of it.

No, but a soccer (excuse me, football) team loss might do it!
