200lb Dumbell Bench - Coleman

Check him out doing the 2300lb leg press.

They have to get out a calculator just to figure up the wieght.

I've seen that before and fucking-a that is sick. I don't know how you even can have the wrist strength to control the dumbells at that weight and how far the weight sticks out. Fucker is a beast!

if you think that is impressive go over to muscletalk.co.uk and look up Bbigman2000 for his 2700lb leg press... he doesn't ever do squats he only does legpress and his legs are massive you can see his right quad going into cramps at the end and his muscle is massive... well the man himself is just massive but that's a tale for another thread on another forum!! :)

Thats really not very much compared to some people.

My dad was doing 750 in highschool, but then again he

was a fucking animal back in his day.

I look at it in terms of body weight. Even if Coleman was 320 lbs. when he pulled the 800 lbs., that's still 2.5 times his body weight. I don't care if you weigh 140 lbs., a 2.5 x body weight deadlift is impressive.

You're dad is a beast.

I know guys bigger than that and they don't even lift weights...they're just big farm boys. (If I had a nickle for every time I heard that one.)

I thought to myself...200's for dumbell presses...big deal. Then, when I saw the ease at which he toys with them, I am in awe. He presses those like they're 50's.

That's ok, seeing someone do 2300 makes me feel weak enough as it is.
2700 DAMN!!!!

In case anyone wanted some motivation for the long weekend. Everyone probably has seen a guy benching 5 plates in their gym....but 200lb db's? Whatever anyone has to say, it is still fucking impressive. I'm gonna go cry now.

Video is impressive, but this is not as unattainable as you may think... After a shoulder injury from Barbell flat bench, I did all dumbell work for about a year. I could press the 160# (biggest my gym offered) for 10-12, and really my limitations had to do more with my wrists... I know 160's for 10 is a far cry from 200# DB's, but at the time I was 230lbs, and 100% clean...

I tell you guys this only to let inspire you... Most people never come close to thier potential when it comes to DB press... I have increased several friends DB press by 10-20 lbs, simply by handing them the heavier ones... GL!

Yes db`s impress me much more, 800lbs is not something you cant achieve, most powerlifters can do that but still a great result of course.

Same here, i thought his 200 lb. db's was more impressive.

I got up to 100 lb. db presses when i was 17 and i haven't

been able to go up in weight cause our gym stops at 100.

So for the last three years i've just done as many reps as

possible, right now i can get 14.

i heard from someone who works out there for contest prep, that metroflex has 250lb dumbells. thats just insane strength

yeah...well ronnie is also throwin those up for what like 12 reps? fuck i bet he could do 300lb dumbells for a few if he tried. i myself can barely bench 305. its sick to know he could hold 300lb dbs in each hand and press them.

DAMN. :eek2:

He lowered the bar nice and slow, too...didn't trampoline it off his chest like I've seen many people do!

R1

some people actually talk shit on that guy saying how much his bench shirt helps him out and everything. id like to see one of those people even be able to pick that much weight off of the bar with a bench shirt.

300 is a far cry from 200 if he could throw them up I'm sure he'd have a video of it!!

why does he do partial reps?? something i have never figured out - most pros seem to employ this - whats the deal?

to pump more blood into the primary muscle being worked. guys i know that compete for example widen their grip on bp and do partials because it creates more of a pump and isolates the chest muscles more. dont know how others feel about this but thats what ive heard.
