2000 VW Passat CD install guide? anyone help me out pls?!?

hey guys just got a new vw passat, im trying to figure out how to install the cd player, i cant see how to get the face off the empty slot for the cd player, anyone know how or where theres a website with a guide on how to? thanks a lot! preciate it

Try just going to a stereo shop around your town. Most local places will show you how to do stuff no charge.

ok, i'm thinking clearer this morning.

check on http://www.crutchfield.com/S-54oDjbGglNO/ to see if you need any aftermarket adaptor kits to install a head unit in your car. it's pretty easy to search their site. if you need an adaptor kit, they will give you the instructions to tear your dash apart and put the kit and the head unit in.

even if you don't need a kit, you can get their instructions. you will need a wiring harness adaptor though, that's for certain. and please, for the love of god, solder the wires together. don't just twist them. solder and get some of that heated shrink stuff. trust me on this.

i've done quite a few installs in my own cars, ranging from a 78 Impala to a 96 Civic and i'll be doing an 03 Civic this week (Full system going in that car ). i have a good idea of what i'm doing, so if you have questions, lemme know.
