You can cut on a lot more than 200g of carbs. The biggest factor in fat loss is calorie intake in general, not xxx amount of carbs.

him wieghing 210lb i would have to disagree that he will be able to cut on more then 200g of carbs per day. 200g of carbs will yeild 800calories, most typicly cut on 8-12cals per lb of bodywieght (some go even lower) that would put him between 1680-2510cals per day, 800 cals per day is a big part as is, so raising it up even further would be counter productive and will not leave much room for protein intake to be suffecient.

BTW, loosing fat and gaining mucle is very impractical even with AS

It can be done.....as long as u consume 1.5 to 2 g of preotein / LB..and rest comes form other sources...=) Plus t3 clen, and ridiculous amounts of drugs help abit:)

200g of carbs = 800cals
2*210*4=1640 cals(from protein)

1640+800=2440 cals, does not leave much room for fats at all, if you increase carbs calories will go up and you end up overeating. now if you do 2hours of cardio per day, t-3 and clean it could be done, but dont expect to gain muscle with that program

While there is always arguemnt on caloric requriements while dieting, I'd have to say for someone who weighs 210 pounds 1600 calories seems a bit low. 2400 sounds like a pretty good start and if you were on an Isocaloric diet then that'd be 800 calories per nutrient or 200pro/200carb/89fat. I've cut before on a 40/30/30 diet with the 40% coming from carbs and did fine on it. I just prefer less carbs now to control my appetite and keep my water levels consistent.

Bodybuilders have been cutting for years before this low carb craze came about, I don't see why 95% of the readers of this board think the only way to lose fat is to cut your carbs down to extreme numbers. Long as you get enough EFA's you can eat some carbs.
