20 year class reunion/the birth of my snacky cake addiction/etc.

I've been reconnecting with high school friends lately. A lot of the women are still attractive surprisingly.

Anyway, I get this notice that the 20 year reunion is coming up and all these emotions came back to me. I didn't know that they still bothered me. I guess everyone gets an anxiety attack when they get the reunion notices?

I had 30ish people in my graduating class, the 10 year 3 people showed after that the school started doing reunion/fund raisers every 5 years for all the grades 4-12th and you can go online and see who is coming, who can't and who might. My favorite two teachers have both since pasted and those I'd like to see all live in different states.



I'm still stunned at your story about your mother and how you can forgive your mother for abandoning you yet you get an emotional response over the kids you went with to high school.

It's funny. Last week, I saw 2 $600 dresses and HAD TO HAVE them even though I didn't know why. Now, I would have somewhere to wear one. Hell, I may change into the other one halfway through the reunion.

Now, I need some extremely hawt hawtie to pose as my hubbie...LOL.

I can relate. I hated high school, hated being a teenager, hated adults, hated my peers and hated life.

I try not to think about that myself. lol
