It was 20 yrs ago and they were kids then. The teen years are when we are taught how to make our way into the world by how others treated us.
Embrace your past and go to the reunion and have fun. People change!

In 2004, I went to my 20 yr reunion and had a blast. And the girls in school were brutal to me, but that was then. They were all so awesome when I met them again.

I agree, some of us who wanna go don't get this chance. I went to many schools so they all probably think I am way out in some foreign country eating fruit and drinking some crazy drink with an umbrella in it.

I have no clue what to say about your mom just leaving... It's kewl that you forgave her and understood she probably was not the sanest person when she did that.
