2 computer questions. Plz help.

1. How do I get media player to be my default player? I accidentally made Real my default and it blows big time.

2.Is it possible to uninstall Direct X and reinstall it? My Star Wars Galaxies keep crashing due to direct x issues.

Right click on one of your music files, goto properties, and then select 'Opens with' Windoze Media Player. It is right there.

1.) Remove hard drive, shake furiously until the bits and bites arrange themselves properly so that it's your default player.

2.) Simply go to Add/Remove software and remove the Windows OS. When prompted to re-install the OS, make sure you check the DirectX option.

What you can do is just download the latest version from http://www.microsoft.com/windows/directx/default.aspx

try that. It will automatically overwrite your previous version.
