1st cycle

Hey guys, few questions. im on week 5 of test enth, i gained very quickly at the start of week 4 then weighed in teh last two days 5 lbs lighter? now i have noticed i feel abit lighter. so i went up 10 down 5, but i am drinking alot of water and eating alot of bananas to deal with moon face, witch was unreal for a few days but after some cardio water and bananas it has went away alot. Did i shed alot of the water weight? i havent noticed to the human eye much going on, maybe the scale at teh gym is fucked up or something... when should i expect the dramatic gains? hoping to thinken my arms and get a little more lower chest, as ive always done alot of incline due to advice from fourms. my back and legs and tris are my stronger points, hopefully build some better shoulders to. no pics i smashed my camera when it wouldnt work.

Start date: Friday janurary 16th
Running: Test en 500mg/week
Varables: New workout program (level one exercise program pg 180 Modren Encyclopedia of BB)
New supplements - True Mass(BSN) as oppsed to synthisize(VPX)/shotgun(VPX)
Other Supplements - Animal Pak Multi-vitimins
Current Bodyweight 174 pounds in the mourning(fluxuating upwards towards the night), 5'9, BF - 12% give or take a percent, i have visable abs.

Feb 17th bodyfat a little lower, except in face haha, strength is up when im grappling, but with teh weights not a huge difference. (mma messes my workouts up abit due to teh high intensity). i wont post my diet due to the fact that i dont track it, i eat very healthy but dont count cals. i do drink about once a month, even with teh fact that everyone else in my province is an alcohalic.
 
well first of all you need to get an AI quickly. that will take care of a lot of the bloat and estrogen side effects. you're not going to see "dramatic" gains but they should be steadily increasing right about now. as long as you take in enough calories you will grow. where you're getting your calories from will determine how you grow. routine plays a role in this as well but i think you should be fine in this department since your in mma and getting your cardio in. it's good that you're staying away from alcohol for the most part. also your morning weight after a piss is your real weight.

you also need to have a pct ready to go.
 
i have arimidex, dbol and clen in my car. Thanks for the reply and advice man, i will post some more info and stats in weeks to come, i also have some lifts recorded so at the end i can calculate the percentage in witch they went up, if that interests anyone

Keep arimidex on hand in case you start getting some gyno...

Are you running a test only cycle then? That's an excellent first cycle. You should start seeing results in week 2. If you are not growng, you need to make sure your diet is in check, you're getting enough rest...and there is a high probability you are overtraining because of mma...i used to be a fighter for 11.5 yrs, and I can tell you you're probably overtraining
 
good advice above...........Now Heres some solid advice,lock that scale in the closet

The best way to guage your progress is by taking Pictures,Using a tape measure and Body Fat calipers!

The Scale will lie to you because there are too many factors involved, you may be holding water, or even still carrying that evening meal from yesterday,not to mention whats already being digested in the intestines.
You need at least a gram of protein for every pound of bodyweight, and eat 6-7 smaller servings thru out the day, If you're really serious i would suggest you post everything you eat each day on Fitday.com,that way you can track your progress.

hell ya broski, definitely keep us posted with all your results, i love going through logs. it's like i'm there doing it too sometimes. also one more thing, some peeps use dbol as a pre-workout thing, maybe you can look into that if your interested. personally i wouldn't use it too late in the cycle b/c of the bloat it gives me but you might not have that problem.
 
Thanks for the advice guys. I live in The Goulds Newfoundland a small town of about 2000 people if your wondering where i live, just outside the capital city, where i go to work, and to the gym. I am 21 years old, have been training since i left high school, i was always the small fast guy on teh hockey team who threw alot of hits and fought bigg dudes to get my team going haha.

- sleep, i deffently get enogth haha
- cals, i will try uping them, and try recording them.
- I will be adding more protien shakes a day (generic whey protien my friend gave me)
-Try to cut MMA down to once a week, i do it for fun and knowledge, not competitive
- i do have a measing tape i have to find, will post up some measurements

what if i put the needle in at a 45 sometimes, i knew since day 1 it has to be 90, but maybe i put it in wrong sometimes, its hard when your stabing your self in the ass to keep a steady hand, theres useally abit of blood and a lump hours later... i shot my leg yesterday, and hours afterwards it feels like the 2nd worst charlie horse i ever got.

if after max growth i would advise 2 grams of protein for every pound of bodyweight .. upping my protein intake makes me grow like a weed
 
i dont know if anyone follows this anymore but 2 of my friends who have experiecne with AAS asked if i was on cycle, so i guess even if the scale or measuring tape isnt showing much. something is
 
sorry for the double post, but update, arms are up a 1/4 inch im on week 7 some people say theyve made better gains, but i am estactic about this, because that would of taken rougly a year of training. body fat is down now to... tryin to up teh carbs and protien but still not tracking sorry
