1st Cycle...what do you think?

Hey guys, after many months of thinking about whether or not I should do a cycle and a lot of research I have decided to go a head and do it. A little about me. I am 26 5'10 170 pounds, I have been lifting weights for 2 years, gained about 40 pounds during that time. But this is the cycle I am thinking. Goal is trying to gain 20 pounds of lean muscle.

Week 1-12 Test Cyp 500mg/week
Week 1-10 Deca 500mg/week
Week 1-5 Anadrol 50mg/day (might use d-bol instead)

Gonna have Nolvadex on hand during the cycle just in case.

PCT
Week 13-16 Clomid
300mg day 1
100mg each day for 13 days
50mg for the last week

I read an article about using HCG in the pct, was thinking about it. If I was to do it I would go 2500 ui (Monday/Wednesday/Friday). Or should I run the HCG during my cycle is order to prevent atrophy in the first place?

So what do you guys think? Along with a proper diet and training program so I be able to reach my goal? Thanks a bunch.

Your pct needs some work. It's better to run hcg during your cycle to prevent shut down. 250iu every 4 days would be good.
 
You would most likely be better to run that Deca at 300/week as opposed to 500. Dont wanna get those damed Deca sides bro! (meaning dicky no worky!!)
 
I'm really not the one to give advice because I just started my first cycle. It sounds like this is your very first cycle correct? If so alot of experienced guys will give the advise to just run the test on first cycle. Because if you run what you plan and start getting sides, you won't know which one is giving you the sides so you can't approach the issue easily. I was going to do a test/ deca cycle but I took their advice and dropped the deca and just running test. I've read of test only cycles that achieved great gains. Some around the 20lb mark. How much you keep after cycle will have alot to do with your pct, training and diet. At least me relying will bump this up so maybe you can get more responses from more experienced guys. Thanks for the advice shibs. Now do you run 250iu every 4 days during the cycle right into the pct, or do you stop when the pct starts?

Thanks zedhed for the heads up. I am going to run it at 300 a week. Seriously the only reason why I was going to run it at 500 is to use it all up, but I am trying to avoid any sides that I can. After researching some more on Deca I see I might run into a problem at that does. So thanks again.

My thoughts exactly...anyone can make it to around 200# natty at 5'10" easily. This is like the fifth post like this I have seen in the last few days, one of the others in fact posted above this (stevec thats you)

That and as others said Clomid is old-school and my personal opinion is crap. DO NOT START YOUR CYCLE until you have a proper post cycle set up or your wasting your time.

I would be more concerned with your diet however as 170# at 5'10" is pretty lean. Post up if you really want advice.

And Stevec, your right you shouldn't be trying to give people advice when you yourself are running your first cycle and thought you were a genetic freak because you gained some water weight. Enthusiasm appreciated however.
 
agree with cut no advice is always better than bad advice lol nothing freaky about genetics with 20 pound water weight gain, and if its your first cycle use the phrase less is more and guage from there keep those progests low!
 
Cut and Ez, I consume about 3000 cals a day. They are clean cals mind you. 200 grams of protein, I try to keep fats at about 25% of my cal intake. I have an extremely high metabolism. So for this cycle I was going to bump my cal intake to 5000 with the same ratios that I am using now in regards to protein, carbs and fats. I also drink a gallon and half of water a day. McDonalds may once a week, no liquor or pops for me. I can post exactly what I eat on my workout days and my off days right now, and also my planned diet for next month if that would be better. I was at 180 or so at my high but due to some personal reasons wasn't able to hit the gym as much over the last little bit and hence the loss. I am very lean 10% BF. Cuthroat what would suggest for a good pct? I am going to be running HCG throughout my cycle, but I am open to any new ideas. Would Nolva be a better choice,? Any advice appreciated. Thanks a lot guys
