18 low test?

What was the reason for the bloodwork? What kind of doc? Post up the other results as well, that might help paint a larger, more complete picture.
Normal range for Total Test is 280-1100, depending on the lab. The next question is free test levels...what your body can actually use. which can be more important than total test.

yeah i am going to ask, i was jw your guys insight on it in the mean time. mine was 356. i went to the doc for supposedly an enlarged prostate issue. i have symptoms of excessive urination and the urge to urinate all the time, even after i just went. kinda gets old after the first day.

Sounds like the clap! I'm not being funny, nor am I your doctor, but I'd say at 18 you are more likely to have Chlamydia than an enlarged prostate. I've had the clap before, not ashamed to admit it. For me the main symptom was having to piss after I just dribbled piss moments ago. No burning, no dripping. Just lots of piss sensation and a little bit of ball ache. Get an STD screening. If nothing else we have learned that Ryno9000 refuses to wear a rubber. Oh, and what those guys said. Your doctor will be able to help you with your test level results better than us meatheads.

Bro...as important as your total test and free test numbers, how do you FEEL? How is your libido? Any issues starting / having / finishing sex? After a good night's rest, do you feel rested? Are you always tired? Lack of concentration? Irritable? If you said yes to most of these, then that would likely concur with low test levels... get your free test measured as well, and see what your doctor says... and don't necessarily take what he/she has to say as bible either...just because they're doctors, doesn't mean they are experts in everything medical.

That does sound like low test. Definitely wait to hear back from your doc though, of course. Hopefully he can take care of it without having to put you on HRT. But even thats not the end of the world. Good luck bro.

just curious, how did you find us?
every testing lab has a reference range of normal values.
But this isnt the place for you to get answers since your possible low test has nothing to do with past steroid use.
and since you're under a doctor's care you dont need or want feedback from random internet people.
if it is in fact low, the doctor will do tests to determine if its primary or secondary hypogonadism or another problem and treat you accordingly.
