10 pounds of muscle a year??????????

First of thnx for the replies :) and what i was saying was an experienced bodybuilder/lifter on crank could gain about 10 pounds of lean (no fat no water retention in a years time) . So further down the road it gets harder to put on the lean muscle and thus more crank is then needed to add more to your frame. I am not talking about gaining 10 pounds the natural way which does happen when u haven't reached your genetic potential after a while 30 pounds in 1 year goes down to 5 pounds in 2 years then it's time to take some real supplements ;)

Well, I don't know about you guys, but most of the people I know with a crank habit certainly aren't gaining any weight...

hehe, bodybuilders on crank... 100 lb dumbbells flying across the gym... ;)

Hey Ultra, maybe that explains Mr. USA? hehehehe

this is an ambiguous question

It depends how big you are at this moment, and how much your body can actually support naturally.

with or without juice, it is going to vary depending on how much space u got left to build.

I'm 19, i've been working out (not serious training for 4-5 years) I have hit plateau's, then suddenly gained 5 lbs in a matter of weeks just b/c of my natural growth...

It all depends on your situation. From 15 I've gone from 6' 125 lbs ( i was verrryyy skinny) to 6'1 185 lbs. I've plateud again, but my frame still has filling out to do..

So if you have a lot of room to grow, then there really isnt a set limit IMO. Of course if you are already pretty big for your frame, it's logically going to be much harder.

I have gained 50lbs in the past year and 4 months, but i just started training. The bigger you get, the slower your gains. started at 5'10, 150lbs, and i am now 6' 200 lbs. but i am only 19, so some has to do with puberty :D

WTF is goin on here...!

Y does everyone think that they need to do more juice to get bigger...?

OK I have been going to a few bodybuilding shows over the last couple of month's and have spoken to a few pro's and up and coming bodybuilders.

Here is a example you know Hawk from the first season of gladiators (UK) well i had the pleasure of chatting to him at the last show i went to in barry wales as he will be compeating in the finals for the UK in birmingham this year.

And he was talking about the gear he uses and its fuck all i have seen people use twice as much as he does and this fucker is about 224 lbs and 6' approx im not sure on his hight but i did ask his weight 16 stone and he was shredded i will post the pic's when my bird finishes the film off.

In fact most of the people i spoke with who compete dont use much gear.

You can always count on real j to tell it straight. I get tired of these "I gained 30 lb in my last cycle posts". Hell, we would all be 600 lb gorillas. I've done this 25 years.....can you imagine.
Truth is, there are 3 stages in muscular development.
If you train hard and eat right for a period of years natural, you will gain weight and strength, but eventually plateau.
At this point you must decide if gear is for you. If so, you will gain at a brisk pace for a while, but then level out as you approach your genetic potential. 10lbs of lean muscle mass a year at this point is damn good. I'm happy with a few quality permanent pounds these days.
Of coarse, you continue to look better as definition, seperation, and muscle maturity improve.
The last stage involves the decision to go on to more radical approaches, like GH, insulin, EPO, etc. This will also lead to some quicker gains but everything has its limit.

Muscle is 79% water, so if u gain 10lbs of Fat free mass ( assuming u didnt grow any taller) in 1 year then you have gained roughly 2.1 lbs of muscle tissue.

Well i started in spring of 98 at 6' 185 lbs

my highest point was about 276 on my last cycle
then i did some cutting and now i am steady at 255 with no juice
so i guess if you do the math i am ahead of the 10-15 but my gains have just about all stopped :bawling:

good luck to you mate

Gaining weight(muscle) has not been hard for me at all. In fact it has been too damn easy! I started working out 4 years ago and I was 6' at 135lbs. Now the first 3 years I worked out at home most of the time so I wasn't getting everything out of my workouts. But in 3 years of working out at home I went from 135lbs with 8% bf to 170lbs with 10% bf naturally. Now last summer I decided that my home gym wasn't cutting it cause I was not making anymore gains in size or strength so I joined a hole in the wall hardcore gym. Now keep in mind that I have yet to do AS but was close last year when I stoped gaining. Anyway I joined the gym in August of 2000 at 6' 172lbs w/ 10% bf. Right now as I am writing this I weigh in at 215lbs with 12-13% bf! This is roughly a 40lb pound gain in 8-9 months without AS. I ate around 4-5000 cal a day, 300-350grms of protein a day and 2-4 packages of ramen noodles every day, plus I was taking eca's every day because I was addicted to them for about 2 years up untill about 2 months ago. Last week I decided to start a cutting diet for 2 months and I have a 2 month supply of lipokinetics that I will be starting June 1st. My goal is to stay over 200lbs with under 10% bf. I shouldn't have a problem doing it but I have never tried lipo even though I have taken every other eca stack for the past 2 years. I don't care about lipo's side effects I just want to see if is as good as everyone says it is. By the way I am 23 years old.
