1" or 1.5" pin

i have been using 1.5" pins for glute shots... recently the last 1/4" is very tender going in... someone suggesting using a 1" as 1.5" is too long anyways... any problems using 1" pins for glutes?

You can get away w/ it especially if you're lean.

I've got a beefy ass,so I prefer 1.5" for glute shots.

but if you're seriously lean or thin,yeah you can get away with a 1"

I say go with the 1.5 unless you're very lean... most aren't really that lean... you'd probably surprise yourself with how much you have between the skin and the muscle there if you had it layed open with a scalpel... alot more than you think!! I say just tough it out or use some other sites!! you don't want a shallow injection!!

I always go with 1.5 in the glutes. I tried a 1" pin once and actually had some leakage when I pulled out the pin.
