1.5 year back progress

Okay in the before pic I am about 215 or so and that was in the fall of 02. In the second pic I am about 270 or a little bit better and that was a week or so ago. I would show the front but I have a gut right now,,,lol, I am currently working on getting rid of that by the way.
 
yea it was ball busting work. Right now I am working to get myself in the single digit bf range which should take about 12 weeks I would think. Then I plan on bulking hard again this coming fall and winter and try to push myself close to 300lbs.
 
Damm dude you've put on some serious size! Good job. I really notice it in your arms as well as all over. How many calories were you eating and did you steadily gain weight and size or were there several weeks of plateau followed by adding 5-10 lbs in a short time?
 
I have to admit I did put on some bf. I was like 12% when I started and went up to close to 17 but oh well I will take that.

My before and after stats.

Arms 17" after 19.25"

Quads 26.5 after 30"

Calves 17.5 after 20"

waist 34 after 38" lol,,, what can I say I like to eat

chest 47" after 54"

Okay I know these look a little big compared to my pics but you have to consider I am 6'2" so I don't fill out like you short guys,,, lol.

As for my diet I did get a little sloppy in that department. I was pretty much eating whatever (whole large pizzas, 4 double cheeseburgers, quarts of ice cream, you name it) as long as I got in my protien. I always kept my protein at 2x my bw. So, towards the end of my bulking I was over 500g a day. I know when I begin to bulk this fall I am going to be a little tighter with my diet and try not to get over 12 or 13% bf. As for my calories I would have to guess and say they were easily over 5000 a day, maybe even 6000. I am not really sure, but you can figure it out. I think 4 double cheeseburges by themselves are almost 2000.

My gains came just like you said. I would put on 10 or 15 lbs over a month or so then hit a plateau and maybe even lose weight. I think that goes the same for all of us.

seriously, bigp, that is some impressive size on you! if you put on body fat, which you had to have had to to get that big, i did not notice it on your more recent pic. i was just amazed at your bulk. how tall are you?
 
I am 6'2" and 30 something age wise,,,lol. My bf in the after pic is about 17% or so. This goes to show and old fart can put on bulk too. I would like to do a show somewhere down the road maybe in early 06 or late 05. I would like to hit 300 lbs first before doing a show and try to compete somewhere in the 240 or 250 range.

Great stuff. BIG difference. I know what you mean about being tall and filling your frame in. I`m 6ft.3 and feel your pain... but you are doing GREAT. Props
