1,4 butanediol

1,4 is a LOT MORE ADDICTIVE. Two of my buddies who had used GHB recreationally for years were forced to use 1,4 because of supply problems. The both got badly addicted. I wont touch the stuff.

personally i have used it for years as a sleep aid and a very occasional club drug. i have never overdosed, and have never shown any ill side effects. this includes liver values. good points made here are measure with a syringe.a"cap" is just to unprecise.

man, talk about a thread fulll of misinformation and out and out mistruths. stay away from 1,4 since it metabolizes in the same was as alcohol and can lead to liver problems as well as dosing problems when used with alcohol becasue of the shared pathways. There are NO harmful metaolites produced when using gbl and it is highly unlikely that the slight acidosis possible when it is hydrilized to ghb would be harmful, I have NEVER seen any clinical problems regarding this just a theorectical possibility. i prefer gbl because I am sodium sensitive and avoid the additional sodium in my system from ghb(actually sodium-ghb) GBL is also a better buy since it i smore potent gram for gram than ghb.
Some of the best information regarding ghb can be found at the the CERI site:

check it out.

Fine, dont believe me, just ask Fonz about it sometime.

I don't believe you because you are the first to comment that GBL has harmful metabolites. NOW, I understand if you get low grade GBL (< or = to 95%) it would have an impact on your health, being that it's not pure. I've known and read reports of people taking blood tests after 3 years of continuous GBL ingestion and have a normal turnout. (Can't say the same for 1,4). I have been taking GBL almost everyday for the past year and a half and recently had a blood test: Outcome--everythings on point.

I'd like to know what Fonz says about it and maybe guide me to some medical data.
