What is more important to you? If you could only go with one? Nice head of hair? Or big muscles?

Seriously though ... unless you are black .. I am not a big fan of the bald look. Some people have a head thats shaped good for it, others dont.

I will admitt, for pure attrictiveness (I am not a girl, so just talking out my ass here), I would say the formula is something like this ....

1. Nice Hair + No muscles = OK to some chicks!

2. Bald + Huge Muscles = OK to some chicks, and if you can pull it off OK, probably really attractive to some chicks.

3. Nice Hair + Huge Muscles = Chicks will RAPE you!

4. No Hair + No Muscles = Better get used to tuggin it, lol.

For instance, if you have a nice head of hair, and it started to fall out from steroids. WOuld you stop using them for good, just to keep your hair? Also, to the baldies out there? Are you bald because of steroid use? As in were you going to be bald anyways? This just sped it up? Lets here some thoughts here.....

Given the choice, I would still pick the muscles. My opinion is that I dont care what girls think anyway, as I want to be much bigger than they like anyway. But there are plenty of guys out there with nice hair, but not many with huge muscles.

In my early 20s, I had lots of hair, but only did okay with the ladies. Since I have gotten this big, I get hit on everywhere I go, despite the shaved head. And I still had muscles back then, just not as big as now. Now it could only be that I get hit on because I am married, and we all know that it never happens when you are single...

Luckily though I married a woman who loved me before the muscles, doesnt care that I have them, and is cool if I lose every strand off of my head....

I would rather have full hair. I know how I looked when I had all of them (man was I blessed!) and I know how I look now that I only have part of them,
 
This question can only truely be answered by a women, so I asked my girlfriend. I felt that she would be a great person to ask since shes a fitness model who gets hit on alot, so she has high standards when it comes to physical attractivness of the same or opposite gender. I asked her to be impartial and honest and she replied with an honest answer.....

" I liked you before when you were skinny and had hair(then 23). Now that you've started taking steroids your hair has receded, but by no means are you balding! Now(27) you have a body that every girl wants and you have the hairline of a 30 year old. If I had to pick, I would pick you now anyday and so would every other girl."

In all fairness she did mention that taking steroids to the point of baldness was very unatractive. In short, her answer would be the opposite if I were completley bald at the age of 27 from steroids. Hope this helps. I'll see if i can get her to type a lengthy reply under my username tommorrow.

She is really smart, but clueless to a lot of things. Its pretty funny. She asked me last night if creatine was illegal, lol. I have slight receeding in the temples. My dad is bald, so i am scared that that is my destiney! lol. i feel the slight receed now, is because I am again. Maybe steroids has sped it up a bit, who knows. But I am far from bald and can still make the hair look good.

Anyways, two of the biggest hairloss myths are this..

1. If your grandfather is bald on your mothers side, you will bald. Untrue. It is dominant on that side, but not enough to be significant. You have more of a chance of going bald if you have a bald parent!

2. If you have a full head of hair at 40, you have made it, and cant go bald. lol. Again .. myth.
 
My GF said she'd rather me have hair than bald and big. Fuck her what does she know?
 
I'd take the hair everytime. White guys with the shaved head.... just looks flat bad 95% of the time. The best you can hope to be is a Mr. Clean look-alike.

Word, I'm 5'11" myself and wish I had an extra inch or two. I've yet to meet a woman who would date a guy shorter than them.

I had a friend who was 5'5" tall and he slept with over 300 women. He had the look and personality, he does have a complex, but hides it very well except to those closest to him.

Being bald isn't so bad, BUT you have to have a certain facial bone structure to pull it off successfully. And bald guys with no muscles just look stupid.

so true, if you got game, you got game. and i got game. i'm not big yet by any means , but even as a scrawny pencil neck i got mad punana. chicks do go for the personality, i've won over more chicks that turned me down at first than i can count. granted, having a nice physique goes a LONG way toward getting to your goal, but then so does hair, but lots of chicks i know don't mind the hair thing as long as its neat,(no comb over just shave the fucking thing nawmean? ).. as for me, i'm not prone, but i'd rather keep my hair cause i know i can still get supermodel caliber cooter..

not bald, but it has thinned, so I shave it fairly close, and it looks alright that way.
I've started bouncing again for spare cash, and its unreal, out of all the nights I've worked, there are only a few where I didnt get hit on or someone didnt try and take me home....this shit never happened before i got married

Yes, personally and game will get a man chicks even if he's not very good looking.

I dont have the head or the facial structure to look good while bald.....so for me hair is important......thats why I stick to moderate/low doses......we all can grow big with time but with hair its a different story....am only 24 so maybe in my late 30's I wont give a toss....and use any gear I want :) ..... will see....

Some of my skinny, shorter, not as good looking friends have tons of game and get LOTS of girls but I guess I just wasn't born with it, maybe because I went to all boys schools from 7-12th grade. At clubs and bars girls are all over me at first but I always let them get away. And at parties or in the dining hall my buddies get tons of chicks because they know how to talk to them, so I don't think muscles or hair are the end all - the biggest factor is GAME.

Im 5'9 201lbs and for the most part I dont have trouble with women, problem is the ones I really want I always have trouble with, and the ones I dont want are always hangin on me or even worse: getting gay men hitting on you, yuck this happens to me all the time and it something I could do without....But as for women 5'10 and above, forget it they wont have anything to do with me....

Luckily I have a thing for very short girls, 5'3- 5'0....I dont like lanky tall women

Hair restoration and come a long way these days, so if you have the money and a good doc this can be fixed quite well....Im myself take a lotion called spirolactone everyday in the morning, which I rub into my scalp, this helps prevent the DHT ruining the hair folicle....I havent really noticed not much thinning or hair loss...Never say never though, it could happen :(

Its funny cause I see alot of really ugly guys who are cocky with very hot girlfriends by their side, they like guys with very cocky personalitys who just dont give a shit...I personally cannot stand some of them and wanna break them in two because they can be such assholes...But i guess its true, women like guys who are assholes

i guess im lucky, cuz i have a full head of hair, and its not baldness doesnt run in my family at all. but from experiecnce, i know that 99% of chicks dont like the bodybuilder look. they like the fitness model look. so being big is a disadvantage most of the time, unless you like getting hit on my cougars and fat chicks. when i was 18-21, i was skinny as shit, but got 20x more pussy then when i got over 240. i do belive that chicks are intimidated by bigger guys, AND more importantly, they dont like guys that are too big. when describing their ideal look, they use the word "fit", not jacked!

thats the opposite of whats happened to me, when I was smaller, I almost never got hit on, but now it happens all the time, despite the lack of a pretty hair cut. I think part of it is just the law of averages, out of a bar full of girls, there will still be several that like the big bodybuilder look. And it seems like they are the outgoing ones that will come up to you, instead of waiting for you to make the moves

i had personality and attitude when i was younger, now im too conservative, and way to picky. i dont find 99.9% of bar chicks attractive. so i generaly have a look of disgust when im at the bar, and the hoes can sence that

good looks will never go out of style but this is way more important when you are a guy in your twenties, especially early 20s.

ya gotta have more than just looks as you get older. a great looking guy who cannot support a family is gonna be way less attractive to a woman than average looking guy who can. lots of good looking guys out there with nothing going on. you can't coast by on that forever.

looks are very subjective anyhow. who hasn't know someone that at first glance you thought they were good looking/ugly and then when you got to know them your perception completely changed?

I'm 6'2". Girls have liked taller men since the dawn of time.... I just can't believe that you don't realize that.

Granted, not a lot of girls are going to date a dude a foot taller than them....but you won't find ANY women dating a guy shorter than them. Just ask a bunch of chicks if they like taller guys, and they will always say yes.

Jan. 12 — If it seemed as if the tall guys got all the girls in high school, it wasn’t your imagination. New research suggests taller men are more likely to marry and tend to have more children than short guys.




What’s behind the phenomenon — whether women prefer taller men or those men are simply more outgoing — is up for debate. But the numbers clearly stack up against shorter guys.
Polish and British scientists studied the medical records of about 3,200 Polish men ages 25 to 60 and found that childless men were on average 1.2 inches shorter than men who had at least one child.
Bachelors were about an inch shorter on average than married men. That was true even after researchers took into account the fact that men’s heights increased in recent decades because of better nutrition and health care.
20- to 50-Year-Olds
The records, which were collected in Wroclaw, Poland, from 1983 to 1989, showed that tall men in their 20s, 30s and 40s all had more children than their shorter peers.
Height didn’t seem to matter for men in their 50s. Robin I.M. Dunbar of the University of Liverpool said that is because those men came of age after World War II — a catastrophe that claimed the lives of many Polish men and reduced women’s mating options.
However, Dunbar said the numbers clearly show that women favor taller men — something that other research suggests is true across all cultures.
“Basically, height is a proxy for other variables that women find desirable — men who can protect them, provide them with resources, have good social status and aren’t easily dominated by other men,” said Dunbar, a professor of evolutionary psychology and the study’s co-author.
The findings were published in Thursday’s issue of the journal Nature.

Abnormal Sizes Scrapped
Out of the military service records of 4,400 men, the researchers excluded men who were abnormally short or tall. The average height of the 3,200 men whose records were part of their final sample was 5-foot-6.
The researchers meant to study men whose height and reproductive success were not so gargantuan, or so small, as to have skewed their results. Their methodology would have excluded someone like Wilt Chamberlain, the 7-foot-1 basketball star who bragged of sleeping with 20,000 women.
While other studies have shown that taller-than-average men have higher incomes and social status than shorter men, this study is the first to demonstrate a direct link between height and reproductive success, said David Buss, a professor of psychology at the University of Texas at Austin.

Evolutionary Trait
Buss, who has written two books on human mating habits, said the female preference for taller males harkens back to the earliest stages of human evolution. That was a time when prehistoric women chose mates who could offer them the best protection and provide for their needs.
“This study shows that even in modern times the kind of selection we might think of as prehistoric continues to operate,” he said.
Dunbar said he undertook the research after noticing that in personal ads men advertised their height only if they were tall or taller than average.
“You didn’t see any advertisements saying, ‘I’m 5-foot-3, give me a call,”‘ he said.

Female humans appear to be no different from any other species of animal when it comesto mate selection. Size - in this case height - counts.

That women prefer taller men is nothing new. Short guys, unless they're rich, powerful orfamous, have come by this knowledge the hard way. And women all over the world openlyprofess desires for height in personal ads.

The question is, why? Is it the actual inches that get the female flushing, or does heightrepresent something else, such as wealth or education?

Research in today's Nature by scientists in Poland and England suggests heightitself plays a key role in turning a female's head. (If you are a fish, depending on yourspecies, a particularly tall dorsal fin or a long tail might do the trick.)

Some experts, including James Gould of Princeton University, say there's good evidencethat the preference for height by female humans, and long dorsal fins or tails by fish, ishard-wired in the brain and translates to good health.

"When height is an indicator of health, this is not surprising, and if females areprogrammed to look for health, they would end up with taller males," Gould says."It's entirely plausible this is true."

The study's cold statistics show that taller men are more likely to have children thanshorter men and are more likely to be married. Conversely, childless bachelors aresignificantly shorter than married men, says Robin I. M. Dunbar of the University ofLiverpool.

The more successful breeders were 1.2 inches taller on average than childless men, andthose who were married were an inch taller on average than bachelors.

Dunbar and colleagues from the University of Wroclaw in Poland studied 3,200 men, rangingin age from their 20s to 50s, whose average height was 5 feet 6 inches. Because otherstudies suggest tall men have better education and are more likely to have family wealth(the silver-spoon variety, not earned by themselves), the team controlled for educationand still found that height races the pulse.

Mate selection, which is controlled by females in most species, has never been a kindprocess. The female, no matter what species, is basically interested in good genes and awell-provisioned nest. But within this female drive there is room for exceptions or truetrade-offs. Money and power can usually supplant height in female preferences the way rockbeats scissors. After all, Al Pacino is only 5-foot-7, and Henry Kissinger is 5-foot-9.

"Taller isn't always better," says Bobbi Low of the University of Michigan andauthor of Why Sex Matters. "The bottom line is, men want healthy young womenand women want healthy men with great resource potential."

Perhaps this is why short Mike Tyson beat the fuck out of all those taller guys. He hated getting spurned for being short. LOL.
 
I'm finding as I get older that looks are only a small part of the equation.

What's the point in having a full head of hair if you are tiny with no self confidence...I'll take the muscle.

Like you were thinking "girls must like for some reason. Well, im tall, they must like tall guys more", then actually went and did a search on it, lol.

Oats and grains, and hairloss guru, do you guys really want to get hair transplants? I have heard that some of these can look pretty terrible. And if you continue to go bald behind your new transplants, things start to look really messed up, and you end up needing almost your whole head transplanted. I think I would rather just BIC it. Supposedly Mel Gibson has these. Its kinda hard to tell on him, so maybe if you dump enough cash into it you can get a decent job done.

thats why I said short with muscles vs tall. Its way harder for a tall guy to look as muscular as a short guy. I am 5'8" and am around 250lbs somewhat lean, for a guy say 6'2" to look the same, he would have to be at least 300lbs, and I very rarely see anyone who looks like that. So thats where proportion hurt the taller guy

The difference between getting good transplants and not, is simply researching the surgeons track record. Hassen & Wong in Vancouver are widley regarded as the best in the biz along with the New Hair institute. I think they did Afflecks hair which looks good.

A good set of implants will cost about 8$/graph with the average person needing around 3000 graphs. Most people who complain about getting a shitty job, say they paid around 5k. Somethings wrong with that picture!
I havent lost the hair on top yet, just the temporal areas which puts me in the category of a successful candidate.

If the finasteride I take daily does its job, then I will likley never need transplants on the top of my head and therefor, not worry about future graphs.

lol .. thanks for posting QT, good to have some female point of view here, lol. Well ... poantrex, I just asked my girl, and the girls she works with (she works with 6 hotties).

Anyways, obviously the general consensus, (which I expected), was that it really is an individual basis. They said, that there was tooooo many factors that influenced this. There was one girl there that said she loves tall guys. Well, I am thinking that she is saying this cause she dates a freakin OGRE. Anyways, i know him, and he is a big tall lanky black dood. Nice guy. But tall and skinny. Looks like he has elephantitus of the legs, lol.

Anywhoo, they brough up "how much money does he make?" and "what does he do". Keep in mind these girls at her work range in age from around 25-35 I am guessing. Anyways, that pissed me off, ... cause I hate gold digging bitches. Anyways, I said, who cares, dont be so low... and they jumped all over me! Fuck did I take a bashing on that one. Anyways, they went on to tell me .. how that says soooooooo much about a dood, and what he is like, by his job, and how much money he makes. They said that it says so much about his personality, and motivation, and goals etc. It kind of made sense to me.

Anyways, ... one thing was all consistant with them, which surprised me. They all liked the V- Taper on guys! They said they LOVE wide shoulders, and a nice V shape. Never thought that they would really give a shit about that. But they loved wide shoulders. They all said they liked muscles .. to a certain extent.

They said, that they really liked the lean but much more than average musclular look, but when i asked them if they liked Arnolds physique, they said .. FUCK NO, (which I know that none of them have seen it in his hay day, other than in the movies, lol). I said .. well you probably hate Ronnie Colemans physique then? They just stared at me like deer in the headlights! hahaha. No idea who he was. lol.

Anyways, I started to think about their V-taper comments poatrex, and started to realise .. that most tall doods, are thin endos. More average sized guys, and smaller guys ... genetically on average ... (the mesos, and endos), have a much more musclular and wider frame. If you are a tall mofo with a wide V-taper, than thats good, but as we all know, classic long ectos, do not have this. Sure they can build muscle, but cant change their frame much. Here is a brief description of an ecdo. They are usually the taller ones.

Ectomorph:
-short upper body
-long arms
-long legs
-long and narrow feet and hands
-very little fat storage
-narrowness in the chest and shoulders
with genarally long thin muscles.

Here is a mesomorph

Mesomorph:
-large chest
-long torso
-solid muscle structure
-great strength

and an endo, which is probably the worst.

Endomorph:
-soft musculature
-rounder face
-short neck
-wide hips
-heavy fat storage

Mesomorphic people tend to put muscle on the easist of all. Think of a well muscled jock type athletic physique. These seem to fit the description best of what these girls were describing to me. Not short, not tall, but average sized, and usually taller than most chicks (unless you live in amsterdam, lol). Like I said, the taller folks tend to be the skinnier ones, with less muscle, and its harder for them to keep it on, and they probably dont have the wide masculine shoulders (calssic v), of a meso for example.

Again, they said, there are sooooo many variables that influense this. But they mentioned a few things, like, athletic muscluar lean build. They all loved abs. They likes a nice smile, and succesfull. And they all said, he has to be "fun". lol. I almost laughed out loud at that one, they just sounded like they wanted play, hahaha.

Then I went on to ask about the hair issue. Would they rather hair, or muscles. And it was a total mixed response. Some liked bald doods (one dates a big bald bouncer - hes huge), some didnt. They all hated comb-overs, lol. But i couldnt get a definate answer from them on this. And to tell you the truth, by this time, i really just wanted to get the hell out of there, cause i just opened a huge can of worms. Then their questions started pouring in? Why are you asking this? Why do you care? What do you like in girls? blah blah blah .. lol.

So ya ... I think that there is no real one answer. Its all such a varied and personal taste. Also .. one thing that I have been thinking about lately .. is think how your taste in women changes over the years? When I was in my late teens, early 20s, ALL that I was attracted to, was the playboy type of girl. Long blond hair, great ass, awesome rack .. didnt care about anything else. Didnt even care what they were like personality wise. Just wanted them to be as hot as possible, and just wanted to bone them.

Its funny how things change when you get older, and you start to like chicks more on their personality. To me now, if I meet a chick who I am really into, and really like her, shes cool, and fun to hang with, I would much rather get with her, than a super hottie, that is boring to me. Even if its just for 1 night. You just know the sex will be more fun, with the fun chick. I find myself checking out chicks now, that normally I wouldnt even know if they walked into the same room. Like the nice wholesome, cute innocent type. Something about them .. how you just want to expose their dirty nasty side, hahaha.

So ya ... think how much girls opinions will change as well, over time. It really is age dependant, and personal preference dependant.

im a natty, 5'9, still have all my hair (except the hairs on my knuckles i burnt off last night while lighting a candle, so that i could get romantic with myself ;) ) and i get lots of attention from all sorts. then i know roiders who have faces that look like a lobster that has been hit by a mallet, and they also get lots of attention from women.

imo either will get attention, but the type of girl will change. im getting lots of 18 year olds lately (woohoooooooo!! wowooowooowooo!! yyyeeeeaaaahhhh babyyyyy ;) ) while i tend to notice the bald roiders getting more skank action..

Muscles arent that important with most women, so long as your in reasonable good shape (not a fat lump). It's more of an added bonus type thing I think. If I had to pick an order, excluding personality (cause a sense of humor will get you far) it would be

Penis size
hair
muscles

Personally since I shaved my head and got bigger I get way way more action, although it's sometimes quanitity over quality. I noticed I usually attract 2 types, 30 somethings and young girls who want a dumb doorman type of guy...

If you're a GQ prettyboy type then your hair is very important, if you're like me then it's just another thing, I've got confidence to burn most of the time and that's what counts..
