I know who Kerry is I love slayer I just don't see him as a guitar god. Don't get me wrong I did his rythems they are awesome but his solos are well....OK at best. Oh yeah big bump on Priest without them Metal would not have evolved to what it is today.

I understand the whole different style thing but Satch is beyond versitile(spelling?) I don't think that SRV could have played like Satch but bet your ass Satch could do SRV. Joe has not just mastered his own style but everyone elses to.

If you have a chance check out the vhs or dvd of Joe Satriani live in San Francisco. I've seen it a million times now and I still can't believe what I am seeing and hearing.
