still unsure about the bench thing...on regular do i tuck as dramatically as close grip...as in really tuck them in to sides...i thought it was 45 as opposed to 90 degree that bbers use...i thought that constituted enough of a tuck...on reg bench...

yeah i guess that is so...maybe its because on flat regular i have my upper arms at 45 degrees...i dotn try to bring them in any more than that....while...with close grips i think about tucking them into my sides...
i might try to...tuck em in with regular grip...with is pinky just...

for some reason when i bench ...close grip i feel much tighter...and to be honest i can feel greater stability and tightness in the lats...when i go wider...i seem to lose that feeling of tightness...i like the squashed feeling that i get when doing close grips...

im not sure why some get so defensive about shirt vs no shirt...
obv it makes a differnce...if some gain 100+ lbs with a shirt...
i dont make any judgements about whether "not fair" etc. i could care less... about such endless arguments. to me its like arguiing politics or religion...pointless...
tris arent the problem...
i can do the same wt close grip as bench press -10 lbs. i close grip with a pretty close grip as well. and no arch whatsover while using a slight arch on flat bench.
i do 315 flat...300 close grip. my close grip is ...with my index on the smooth rough border...

my tris and lats are definately not the problem...
