    Arms need some help

I'm currently doing the 5x5 routine and have had great results on arms. My current arm day looks like this: straight bar curls 5x5 preacher curl 2x8-10 concentration curls 2x8-10 weighted dips 5x5 skull crushers 2x8-10 rope cable press down 2x8-10

    Needsize: rotator cuff question

I read in the 5x5 training thread that you blew your rotator cuff when military pressing with 255. Did you have to have surgery on it? If so, how long until you were able to workout with heavy weights again? If you didn't have surgery, what did you do to heal it? I tore up my left rotator...

    bulking

Thanks for all the help fellas. I'll probably combine what you all said and force feed cleanly. I guess they key is getting in mass quantities of protein throughout he day. I think this diet is going to cost an arm and a leg to buy all the necessary food.

    bulking

Thanks for the advice! Is this enough for bulking, or should I be either eating more at each meal or eating more often throughout the day?

    bulking

As far as the type of food I like goes, I like just about anything. I'm not picky at all when it comes to eating. I currently try to eat about 5 times a day. Usually my day looks something like this: 7:00 - workout 8:30 - 2 eggs, toast, creatine 11:15 - lunch #1, usually chicken and...

    bulking

Can someone please tell me how to properly bulk? I would like to do it cleanly and avoid putting on alot of fat. Is it just a matter of eating tons of healthy food and taking in lots of protein? I am 6'4" 195lbs and have always had trouble putting on weight. I'm guessing I am probably...

I need a god damn good chicken breast marinade!

Here's a tip to keep your chicken moist when you cook it: Before you cook it, soak the chicken breast in saltwater for about 15 - 20 minutes. When you cook the chicken it will come out moist everytime, unless you severely overcook it.

    Another 5x5 Question

Since your preference is 5x5 for incline, do you just do your bench with db's 2x8? Also, since you do chest twice a week do you do one day 5x5 incline and then 5x5 flat bench the next? Sorry for so many questions, just trying to gain the most I can out of this workout from those with experience.

    Another 5x5 Question

Yeah, I read the sticky, I just didn't realize that it was written in stone. I was just tweaking it a little as was suggested by Protobe above. So, what do you think is more beneficial - the 5x5 on bench or incline?

    Another 5x5 Question

I started the 5x5 workout on Saturday with chest and shoulders. For chest I did: incline bench 5x5 bench press 5x5 decline db press 2x8 This worked pretty well for me, I'm just concerned that after I'm on the program for awhile and the weights increase on the incline 5x5 sets, that won't be...

    Another 5x5 Question

Saturday: chest/shoulders incline bench 5x5 chest-bench 5x5 Flies 2x8 shrugs 5x5 side laterals 2x10 I have a rotator cuff injury in my left shoulder so it severely limits what I can do for shoulders. Unfortunately, this means no military press. Sunday:back/abs back-deadlifts 5x5 barbell rows...

    Another 5x5 Question

I'm going to be starting the 5x5 routine tomorrow and have a question. I'm looking to bulk up and gain some mass. I'm 6'4" and weigh about 195, but ideally want to get up to about 215 - 220. For chest I'm going to do 5x5 flat bench, but should I do 2x8 incline db's or incline bench? What are...
