    Just to correct what a previous poster said..... Your "red" muscle fibers are your SLOW Twitch muscle Fibers Your "white" muscle fibers are your Fast Twitch muscle fibers. Red=blood=endurance=O2 Which means these are the ones that use Oxidative Metabolism IE Slow Twitch.
