Does excess androgens close growth plates?

Just curious. I have read that Androgens at pre or young adolescent age can increase height. But I have also heard a few rumors that excess Androgens later in adolescence (mid to late puberty and young adulthood) can close the growth plates. I was wondering if this was true, because I always hear estrogen closes growth plates?

Sometimes I've heard that Androgens close growth plates when/if they aromatize into estrogen. Say Androgens do in fact stunt growth because typically with high androgens theres high estrogen, what if one were using a non aromatizing DHT derived substance like Superdrol, Epistane, Anavar, or possibly even Anadrol, Halo, Tren. Would that close growth plates?

I'm not sure why Andros would, because for the most part, its clear that Estrogen typically closes growth plates.

One question though, when you say it causes accelerated growth. Do you mean it speeds up the closing process or what. Or you just basically hit a growth spurt?

gamer has a shit load of experience, and kinowledge sorry i cant speak for myself, I do not know whether it does or not, I have heard mixed reviews and opiinions and cannot answer you honestly and openly.

i once read an article that says that androgenes in the right amounts will increase height in men

They made a setup showing, that men normaly are higher then women and explained that the reason for this was that women had more estrogene then men, leading to a faster stop in growth plantes.
Surely genetics ect has some to say also

So anavar, winstrol and such would be perfect for this since it did not close growth plantes due to not aromatising into estrogene
think anavar was mainly used for this
