So what are you doing for christmas eve?

at the moment...the husband has decided to go outside all afternoon to fiddle with yard stuff


the kids decided the wii was more interesting than christmas baking (some of it is already done)

I'm sitting on the computer waiting until its time to cook dinner.
then I'll wrap the kids presents when they go to sleep..


how bout you?
 
Baked cookies with the wif earlier
went food shopping (nighmare)
Making toasted raviolis w/marinara dipping sauce right now
Heading to Wifes brothers house for family party
Excited because my daughter is turning 3 and really starting to "get christmas"
 
I have ther pet human tonight, so I'll decorate the tree with her and let her open her presents tonight. Take her to her mom's tomorrow and will suilk all day until I go have dinner with my friend's family.
 
Baking assistant by day. Cook for the feast by evening. And tonight, "It's a Wonderful Life" DVD with the whole family. Then quickie with the wife, make sure the girls are asleep, play Santa.

It's all part of the tradition.
 
I spent the day basking in 3-axis goodness. I'm gonna have a new plate by the end of the holiday!

But tonight it's off to dad's and the morning is at mom's. Time to travel (but just around town... could be much worse).
 
i've been packing up, smoking some weed, chillin, packing up, etc. since 8:30. moving the bulk of stuff from this apartment today, taking it to teh woman's place 15-20 minutes away. i'll have a few days to clear up and clean up the rest before i'm out of this apartment by the end of the month.

after i've moved shit for today, including putting some stuff in a new storage facility nearby, i'll get showered, go look for a present for the lady and her sister, then show up at her family's place hopefully before it's too late for dinner.

i'm going to hate going to the mall, aren't I? i'm that guy. i have an idea of what i'd like, but i'm pretty picky, and she is too...we have similar tastes in a lot of things. i'd like to find something like a wallet/coin/bill thing, maybe coach or something like that, but most coach stuff is meh...ngrs don't know how to design something. spend up to 200 on that, maybe some earrings too.

NOTHING...I'm wore the F out. Tonight I'm pouring myself a few drinks and lounging in front of the TV. Not in the mood to socialize or go to mass...I just need a 'time out'

i wanted out of this place, but don't know if i want to rent anymore. i might either drop out and head to kathmandu, or look for a place to buy, which takes some time.

in the meantime, i can split a cheaper rent at her place and save some money...or just let her pay the rent for a change, and save even moar.

That's how they trick you! I know a married couple of five years...chick had her apartment burn down two weeks into dating...moved in with him until she found a new place and she never left...never left...

I suspect arson but could never prove it.

Just saw the Nightmare before christmas, I <3 Jack Skellington, also husband said he's taking me out for dinner ^_^
 
I've been drinking a little bit, and nibbling on some assorted cheeses and deer pepperettes. Finally after a few days of non-stop irritation, I'm relaxed.
 
Husband and I are having drinkies and watching "Monty Python and the Holy Grail."

It's gotten to the black knight scene ...
 
I had spaghetti for dinner.

TV sucks tonight, even more than usual.

Tomorrow I have to deal with the stepmom's family.
 
- Machined all day
- Light workout
- Dinner at dad's
- Clear heels for desert
- Gonna be asleep by 11:30

Life is good.

I'm already back home from the xmas ordeal. My stepmom's sister has moved in with her, so in addition to the stepmom's two children and their spouses, I also had to deal with the sister's son and grandson. So it was even more people I don't know, talking about other people I don't know. Great.
 
My holiday yielded a new implant!

One part is 3D printed and the other is machined in 3-axis goodness.

It doesn't seem like much, but I also made a manufacturing fixture that makes it easy to product more. That was a ton of fun.

Tonight I get to go to my friend's house and eat with his family. Prime rib, yorkshire pudding, pesto mashed potatoes, broccoli rabe, and a shitload of Greek food. I'm going to eat like it's 1999.

It's an older design, but I've got a customer ready to switch.

But for a Christmas Eve / Christmas Day project (considering I did spend the holiday with both parents separately), it was a decent haul.
