I started my first round of TRT today. Pinned with 100 mg Test-Cyp which I will repeat every 5 days. I also started on sublingual HCG formulated at a local compound pharmacy which I will take 1 and 2 days prior to my next schedule Test dose. As a physician I have the luxury of self prescribing the HCG, however I left the test to my endocrinologist as prescribing a class 3 drug for personal use (although legal) makes me ancy. My previous total test levels which were repeated twice showed total test levels in the 230s. As a 34 year old, that is pretty low. All my other numbers appeared normal, and the diagnosis is hyogonadal hypogonadism (apparently my testis just got tired of making test).
So far after the first dose I feel mildly charged, and awoke sporting impressive morning wood which I had to show off to my wife. I look forward to the effects once I hit peak levels. I am aiming for the 800-1100 range, but obviously alleviation of previous symptoms is key. For the past 9 months I had been irritable, gaining weight despite excercising 5-7 days per week, and had decreased libido. I had a sleep study done which showed that I have obstructive sleep apnea, and had mild improvement with CPAP, but still felt like I was walking around in a haze. It took a while to consider low test as I appear outwardly physically fit and well muscled (bench press 340 lbs etc.).
I am 6'2" 230 lbs, and have a body fat which shocked me at how high it was (19%). I am a former college athlete, however never dabbled with steroids. Really creatine and protein supplement were as agressive as it got. My endo thinks it is probably stress and an eratic sleep schedule which knocked off my test production.
Again my apologies to the guy whom I thread jacked.
