Anyone live in MD?

I may end up living in rockville at some point next year....a lot of pending factors for that, though.

I'd say so LOL. I'm such a midwestern girl. The Metro area was just not my style at all.

I'm a southern beach girl....where I live right now is heaven to me.

But, the man I love is up there and asking him to move away from his family is nearly unthinkable (he has the tightest knit family of anyone I've ever known...it's actually really special to be a part of that when I'm visiting him). Plus business-wise, I may have a chance soon to dig into dive shop ownership up there.

It's just on the horizon as a possibility though. A lot of things need to happen before I leave my beach paradise.

I was stationed in southern MD for 3 years in Patuxient River and sorry to say but I hated it because I'm a NYC boy and that is a bit too far into the stix for my taste.....

lived in college park for 5 years, what what. plenty of juicers there lol

one of the members here used to work at the ballys in rockville but i haven't seen him post in forever

Clams casino at BJ'S FTW!

I've periodically enjoyed OC, but I can't love it...the water is too brown, and too cold. But I enjoy those kinds of boardwalk, USA type of beach towns.

i'm there for a month or so in may/june. Share a condo. I love embers & tubby's. Such a great break from la.

Maryland is like a conglomeration of various states or cities. You go a few dozen miles, and you're in an Southern state. You go west, and you're in Appalachia. In parts of Baltimore, you feel like you're in a Midwestern or Rust Belt city. In other parts of Baltimore, you feel like you're in a northeastern city. On the Eastern Shore, one can feel like it's small town or coastal New England. In the DC suburbs, one feels like it's suburban New York.
